Please join us as we celebrate America's 250 and investigate the life and times of the Revolutionary War era. What was Colchester and eastern Connecticut like in 1776? What happened during that fateful Winter in Valley Forge in 1777 and 1778? What part did Colchester play in the remarkable effort to create a new and independent nation? These questions and more will be answered using early American furniture and decorative arts as a guide.

Our Forums are Free and All Are Welcome. They are appropriate for beginners, intermediate and advanced collectors alike. Refreshments will be served, including Colchester's famous Cato Corner Cheese.

If you look close, you'll notice our windows feature the Chippendale bowfront decorated for Christmas and a Federal sideboard decorated for Hanukkah. The red, green and gold gift wrapping also offers a tribute to Kwanzaa.
