💐 𝗔 𝗕𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗗𝗔𝗬…𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗛 𝗔𝗡 𝗘𝗫𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥 💐

Yesterday was definitely a bittersweet one for us as we officially said goodbye to our original BloomHouse23 location and FINALLY finished bringing all of our BloomHouse23 décor home to 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 & 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀. ❤️

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗯𝘆.

It was where BloomHouse23 grew, where we met and served 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝟭𝟭,𝟬𝟬𝟬 incredible customers, and where thousands more joined us for private classes, public workshops, parties, events, our Sponsor An Elder Christmas & Easter programs and SO MANY fun memories over nearly 5 years.

We both got pretty choked up sifting through THOUSANDS of photos and memories while trying to choose which ones to share with this post 🥹❤️

We will forever be grateful to 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘀, 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗶 & 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝘆 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 for being such incredible landlords and giving BloomHouse23 a place to call home. They gave us the opportunity to grow our passion and create something that became so incredibly special to us, our customers, class participants, event goers, wedding couples and so many throughout our surrounding communities! 🥰🙏💐

It means more than you know to see so many familiar faces continuing to walk through our doors at Coleman Floral and shop the things you loved at BloomHouse23 ~ Our home décor, children’s & adult apparel, candies, candles, jewelry, plants, purses, perfumes & colognes, mirrors, furniture, artificial & fresh florals, gifts galore and 𝗦𝗢 𝗠𝗨𝗖𝗛 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘!

𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝟮𝟯 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 ~ 𝗶𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝘆 moved a mile down the road and 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 😊🌿💐

When we purchased Coleman Floral, we knew we weren’t just buying a business. We were becoming caretakers of a 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝟭𝟵𝟰𝟴 with Arleen & Owen “Rocky” Rocheleau. It was later purchased by their daughter, everyone’s beloved Franny, in 1976. Then, in 2024, Franny trusted US to take the reins and continue the legacy that she and her family had spent nearly 𝗘𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗦 building.

And THAT is something we have never, and will never, take lightly ❤️

Over the past two years, we’ve poured SO much of ourselves into renovating, updating and breathing new life into this incredibly magical place, while still honoring the history and legacy that made Coleman Floral what it is today.

And we HAVE to give a very special thank you to 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘆 & 𝗖𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗼𝘀 💕✨

They have supported us every step of this journey, encouraged and appreciated the changes we’ve made, and have even rolled up their sleeves and 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 some of 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 here. Somewhere along the way, they became so much more than the people who entrusted us with Coleman Floral ~ 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘆 & 𝗖𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝘀, and we love them dearly 🥹❤️

Now, with 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝟮𝟯 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗙, we’re excited to give even MORE of ourselves to Coleman Floral, continue growing its legacy and keep creating something our Coleman community and surrounding communities can be proud of.

Apparently even in the afterlife, we still have to check on our dahlias. 😂

And honestly…Can you blame us?! Our AWARD-WINNING, HOMEGROWN DAHLIAS are still showing off and thriving in our garden, “The Flower Barden”🌸🏆

💀🍂 FEELING ALL THE FALL + SPOOKY VIBES AT COLEMAN FLORAL 🍂💀

Today’s custom order had us feeling a little nostalgic…🥹🖤

A customer asked us to recreate one of Zak’s signature moody skull arrangements, a design he originally created last year for my surprise 40th birthday party, appropriately titled “The Funeral for Cody’s Youth” 😂⚰️

Deep burgundy roses, dahlias, gomphrena, black calla lilies, moody greenery and just the right amount of creepy…These skull arrangements were one of our FAVORITE designs from the party, and we love that customers are still asking for them a year later! 💀🌹

And while we’re embracing fall, the shop is officially overflowing with the season…pumpkins, mums, fall florals and all those rich autumn colors we wait all year for! 🍁🎃

🌸 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 🌸

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of hosting 𝗡𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗬 𝟮𝟱𝟬 𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗖 & 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦, but this past Saturday’s private workshop will always hold an extra-special place in our hearts. 💕

Our birthday girl, 𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗟𝗘𝗬, turned 𝟰𝟬 and had been wanting to have one of our Build-Your-Own Bouquet Workshops for YEARS!

In fact, Ashley first reached out to us 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝗔𝗚𝗢, but the date she was hoping for happened to fall while we were away on our honeymoon.

Fast-forward three years…and her sister, 𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗦𝗘𝗬, reached out to finally make it happen as part of the perfect celebration for Ashley’s 𝟰𝟬𝗧𝗛 𝗕𝗜𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗗𝗔𝗬! 🥂🌸

After months of planning (and countless hours renovating our back workroom) Ashley finally got her wish 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 🥰

And there was another milestone that day…

✨ 𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗟𝗘𝗬 & 𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗚𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗦 𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗟𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣! ✨

What was once our back workroom has been completely transformed into a beautiful, dedicated space for our funeral & wedding consultations AND our future public and private workshops. And hearing how much everyone 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗧 made every hour of work completely worth it!

To celebrate one BIG milestone, we brought out some equally 𝗕𝗜𝗚, 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗙𝗨𝗟 𝗕𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗠𝗦! 🌸

The ladies created gorgeous garden-inspired bouquets featuring dahlias, hydrangeas, celosia, zinnias and garden roses grown right here at our flower farm, The Flower Barden along with BEAUTIFUL lisianthus and celosia grown by our good friend Dana at Whistling Fork Flowers. And WOW…did these bouquets turn out 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚! 😍

We couldn’t have asked for a sweeter group to be the first ones through the doors. We laughed, designed some beautiful flowers, celebrated a pretty fabulous 40-year-old, and feel like we walked away with some wonderful new friends, too. ❤️

𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 is one of the biggest reasons we love hosting these classes.

What a FUN weekend…and day today! 💗🌸
There’s something extra special about getting to design flowers for our friends’ monumental moments. Birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations…friends, family, flowers, and loving what we do. It doesn’t get much better than that! 🥰

🌸 𝟒𝟎 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝟒𝟎 & 𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐔𝐋𝐎𝐔𝐒 𝐁𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐇𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐆𝐈𝐑𝐋! 🌸

Our good friend 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐭 𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐰𝐬𝐨𝐧…errrr, I mean Nicole Linn turned the BIG 4-0 this weekend!

We celebrated Nicole’s birthday in South Haven in 𝐅𝐔𝐋𝐋 𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐂 𝐆𝐀𝐑𝐁 ~ because apparently showing up to a birthday party dressed like normal people was never an option 😂🚢

Since “Rose” loves pink, we surprised her with a 𝐁𝐈𝐆 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐌𝐈𝐍’ 𝟒𝟎-𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦, 𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧-𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐭 filled with 40 premium blooms for 40 fabulous years! 💗

Cupcake-liner cosmos, celosia, ranunculus, roses, garden roses, gladiolus, hydrangeas, zinnias, bells of Ireland and some of Zak’s award-winning dahlias grown right here at our flower farm, The Flower Barden 🌸🌿

Then today, we had the pleasure of designing another special arrangement for our amazing friends 𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐝 & MB Peters, who are celebrating 𝟑𝟎 𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐞! 💛🥂

Mary Beth LOVES yellow roses, so we designed her arrangement in one of our large galvanized containers, with copper trim to complement her kitchen, and filled it with yellow and honey-mustard roses, bells of Ireland, stock, liatris, large disbud chrysanthemums, alstroemeria, premium greenery, and, of course, more of Zak’s award-winning dahlias! 🌼💛

𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝟑𝟎𝐓𝐇 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐘, 𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐃 & 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐁𝐄𝐓𝐇! We love you both! Cheers to many, many more years together!🥂

And finally, tonight we got to end an already wonderful day having dinner with our dear friends 𝐃𝐞𝐥 & Joan! 🥰
