Where are my MCM Peeps? 🙋🏽‍♂️ We stumbled upon this pair of lamps, loved the base but was sure the purple plastic covers were not original. Did a little research and we were wrong, these are original MCM Bubble/Beehive lamps from the 60’s!! Old becomes new again.

Some of our long time followers may remember when we picked up this collection of pictures from the estate of Senator Bill Moore, oldest one of these dates back to 1953. We’ve had these for a long time and knew it would take a special buyer for them but there is a ton of Texas history in these pictures that hung in the state capitol. Today was the day that special buyer appeared. The gentlemen in the picture worked for a Senator starting in 1963. He looked at all of these for a long time and after approaching him, he proceeded to tell me how these meant so much to him, he remembered seeing them in the halls of the capitol everyday. He told me some great stories and ended up buying them all. Old becomes new again.

Day 2!!! What else can we say but thank you!! Today we said goodbye to both Tillys, Betty and Claire. We also parted ways with our coffee table which found a beautiful new home! We have had an amazing show so far and we still have one more day. Re-stock for Sunday is in full motion. Come see us!! Old becomes new again.

Meet Claire, great piece of ol’ Americana. Bread board style top and a beautifully aged chippy paint. Former owner said this has been in their family since the 40s. Think about that for a second……anywho, this beauty is making the trip to the Montgomery Antiques Festival staring tomorrow. We’re starting to question if we’re going to be able to fit all of our stuff in our designated booth but we’ll do our best. Old becomes new again.

Everyone meet Tilly, functional industrial at its finest. We salvaged two of the beauties from a machine shop that was being demo’d. The wooden top, multi drawer unit on casters would make for a great kitchen island, or maybe a mobile bar. Both of these will be looking for a new home at the Montgomery Antiques Festival starting this Friday. Old becomes new again.

Meet Betty the White dresser. This ol Empire dresser is a solid ol piece top to bottom. Drawers open smoothly, all four wheels present and has a great distressed look.
