A new name—and the beginning of a much bigger chapter.
When I started Urban Walls Texas in 2024, it was just me: measuring rooms, calculating wallpaper, carrying tools, climbing ladders, and building a reputation one installation at a time.
With every project, I came to understand that wallcovering installation is about much more than putting paper on a wall. It is about honoring a designer’s vision, protecting the investment a homeowner has made in their space, and having the technical knowledge to give each wallcovering the finish it deserves.
More than 100 clients later, the business has grown beyond the name it began with. I realized I was no longer building only a job for myself—I was building a company with the processes, standards, and training needed to serve even more beautifully designed homes.
Urban Walls Texas is now Marlie Sue & Co.
Sue is my middle name, given to me after my grandmother, Susan. She is known for her artistic talent—especially her sewing—and I credit her with much of the creativity and eye for design that led me to this work. Carrying her name into the company feels like the perfect way to honor where that part of me began.
Marlie Sue & Co. provides meticulous wallcovering installation for thoughtfully designed homes throughout Bryan–College Station. We work alongside homeowners, interior designers, and custom builders, with particular expertise in detailed installations and ceilings.
