This Labor Day, join us on a journey through the decades as we celebrate the people who built the Acme Brick legacy and continue carrying it forward today.
In 1908, at Acme’s first plant, the work was demanding, the days were long, and every brick represented the effort of skilled hands helping build a growing Texas.
During the Great Depression, Acme associates continued to craft materials that would become part of communities throughout the region.
The 1950s marked a period of innovation across the manufacturing industry. New equipment helped Acme associates work more efficiently while maintaining the quality standards that defined the company.
As demand for new homes continued to grow, Acme associates helped keep materials moving, their work played an important role in building communities.
Acme exploration teams spent countless hours sampling and studying company land to ensure future generations would have the resources needed to continue building.
During the 2000s Skilled artisans like Jose combined traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques, shaping natural stone products that would become part of remarkable projects across the country.
Today, the Acme story is still being written. From our plants and yards to job sites, showrooms, offices, and communities, associates continue helping customers bring their visions to life.
