Hey everybody! Sorry again for my extended absence from here. Work, school, and my internship have been kicking my butt! So, I thought it was about that time for an inspirational post!

As you may know, throughout my journey through recovery, now that I have gotten my mind right, I have also now been focusing on getting my physical health and wellness right. It can be tough at times with as busy as life gets. Life throws many obstacles, but all you gotta do is make your way around those obstacles and make sure to set aside some time for yourself, I can not stress how important that is and how much it has helped me! On top of everything else that I'm doing in life, here is an example of an obstacle I face: just gotta work around it!

I hope all is well with everyone. Remember to always take care of yourselves and each other, and as busy as I am, if any of you are struggling, my inbox will still ALWAYS be open! Help is out there, but it is up to you to seek it! Get out there and Take the Helm!

I can finally post this now that it is in the hands of its rightful owner. This is a belated birthday present for my brother.

But, whether you're right or left, you gotta admit, this is awesome! 😆

Alright, I've got "parREXcord" for my paracord work, "REXin" for my resin. I decided to combine those a little more than I have in the past. How about a little self-defense with "parREXincord?" 😆

So sorry, though. These are not for sale, yet. I am currently prepping for a couple of events I've got coming up, which i will have details for soon. So, stay tuned!

For those of you who are not in Colorado, we have a Manitou Incline that is a hike up the side of a mountain via 2,768 stairs made of railroad ties. It is an "Extremely Diffult" level. The way down can either be by those same steps or a hike down, which is a little over 3 miles.

Why do I tell you this? Well, when I was young, I always said I would NEVER do the incline. Now, ever since I got my mind right through my journey of recovery, I have decided it is time to get my body right and, for the last year or so, I have been busting my ass to do just that.

This Saturday is my 3 year sober anniversary. So, I have decided to celebrate that mile stone by doing something I never would've imagined I would ever do: climb the Manitou Incline! My actual sober anniversary was all booked up for the incline, but I was able to do it this morning.

In as little as three years ago, I never would've imagined I would be doing this today. It truly is amazing what we can accomplish with sobriety, and you all know know I absolutely love being proof of what can be accomplished when sober.

There are so many others out there who are still struggling. Luckily, I have had the privilege of having amazing parents and brothers who have supported me and have done everything they can to get me better. I would not be alive today if it wasn't for them. Unfortunately, not everyone has that privilege. That is why I also love being a voice to those who still suffer in silence, and I always reiterate that my inbox is always open if anyone needs it.

Help is out there, but it is up to you to seek it! It is far too difficult to do it on your own.
Inspire yourself. Inspire others. And you too can climb mountains! (Metaphorically and physically).

*Weekend post 3 out of 3*

Headed up to Denver again today for the gem and mineral show. For those of you who have been following my page for a while, you know can't go back to Montana without leaving behind a lot of work for me! I can never resist filling up my treasure chest whenever they are in Colorado.
I got loaded up with about 75 deer and elk bone knives for me to wrap, around 15 bison and cow jaw bones to also wrap. Then, I'm moving on to trying some badass new ideas that I've got to incorporate resin with coyote leg bones, coyote claws, and some mink skulls!
I've definitely got my work cut out for me now, and some new stuff that I am SO excited about, and I can't wait to get started, so stay tuned!

*Weekend Post 2 of 2*

Next up, today after work, I also had the honor of working Homeward Pikes Peaks booth at the 2024 Recovery Rally at America the Beautiful Park in Colorado Springs, CO.
This event was so cool. There were SO many amazing organizations there to support the cause of recovery and sobriety. It was such a great turnout. I met a lot of really cool people from a lot of awesome organizations. There were also some fantastic guest speakers, including Vance Johnson from the Denver Broncos, who took the mic and told his story of his journey! There was live music, the grill was hot, and there were so many people interested in joining our programs to help get them sober! Once again, it is truly amazing to see what is happening with all of the awareness about addiction and so many people getting inspired to sober help and to help others sober up! I am loving ways going on, and I am loving being a part of it!

*Weekend post 1 of 2*

I know not all of my followers are addicts or recovering addicts, but as you all know, that's what this page is all about, so I've gotta share how my weekend has been so far.
First, on Firday, the organization that I work for, where I am a Peer Coach/Recovery Coach, they're a Sober Soiree shindig to help raise funds for what we believe in. It was such a great turnout, and even Chef Brother Luck was in attendance! (He has beaten Bobby Flay). The food was amazing, the band Sofa Killers rocked, and it was such an amazing sight to see how many people showed up to celebrate and support the recovery and sober community! It truly was an honor to have a hand in this event!
