A little Colorado spirit, a little modern industrial, and a whole lot of personality. 🥃

Phase 1 of Forged in Wh***ey brought together a statement-making wet bar, layered metallic finishes, a guest suite, and a reimagined living room fireplace. We had plenty to work with, from bold textures and custom details to those western views of the Peak. Not a bad backdrop to design around, if you ask us!

Stay tuned for the latest on Forged in Wh***ey as we take you into Phase 2

A close-up shot of our recent project, From Garett to Glamour. We went with Cambria Rose Bay Quartz for the bathroom and bedroom built-ins, paired with polished nickel Brizo Invari fixtures to add just the right amount of shine. A little glam goes a long way!

Remember this view from the framing phase? Well, Heirloom & Mason is starting to look a little more like the home we’ve been envisioning.

With drywall up, the proportions and shape of the spaces are finally easier to see, and we’re getting closer to the layered, Updated Old World feel this home is designed around. The earthy palette, timeless materials, and classic details are still to come, but we’ll admit… the view is already doing some of the heavy lifting.

Stay tuned for more progress updates!

A little refresh, a thoughtful rework, and suddenly everything feels right at home. For Serenity & Sage, we gave an existing chair a fresh life by recovering it from a dated floral into a tailored geometric pattern that complements the client’s armoire.

Quaint in footprint, big on functional design. 💙 Blue Door Cottage was created to feel charming and comfortable while making every square foot work with ADA accessibility, everyday convenience, and mountain views.

Large sliding doors and trapezoid windows bring the west-facing landscape into the home, while signature blue details give this cottage-inspired design a little personality.

A little peek behind the design process at Cobalt & Carrera. These selections are the beginning of a thoughtful refresh for a family home transitioning to its next generation. Bringing together fresh finishes, timeless elements, and a few unexpected details along the way.

We love when a home’s next chapter feels connected to where it came from, while still feeling completely its own. This one is going to be a great one. 🤌

The finishes are in, and they look absolutely stunning at Between Branch & Sky!

We've chosen Swan Quartzite for the kitchen countertops and a full-height backsplash, enhancing the space beautifully. Elevating the quartzite adds a touch of drama to the kitchen without overwhelming it, striking the perfect balance for this timeless modern home.

Are you team stone backsplashes or do you love bold contrasting tiles?

If you have found your dream home and don’t know where to start with furnishing it, or if you’d rather start with an interior redesign without committing to a full remodel or a major construction project, there’s a lower-risk way to make a home feel refreshed: the furnishings.

New furniture, rugs, window treatments, and art can change how your Colorado home looks and feels—without the long timelines, costs, or disruption of construction.

At Speas Interior Design, we approach an interior refresh the way we approach any project: we listen to how you live first, then we curate and source pieces and finishes especially for your space.
