From vision to ribbon cutting. ✂️☀️

What a moment celebrating the grand opening of Sunrise at Shiloh Mesa with Greccio Housing Greccio Housing !

This new Colorado Springs community brings 50 affordable homes for seniors 62+, and it all started with a pretty incredible act of partnership. The Center for Strategic Ministry, affiliated with neighboring Woodmen Valley Chapel, donated the land that helped make the project possible.

Then came a whole lot of teamwork, planning, and design. 💛

Last week, we got to stand in the finished community alongside neighbors, partners, and Colorado Springs leaders and celebrate everything it took to get here.

We’re so proud to have been part of the team that helped bring this place to life.

Now comes the best part: watching it become home. 🏡✨

Their address may be on Hidden Pool Heights, but we have a feeling Sisu won’t be hidden for long. 😉

We had a great time celebrating the ribbon cutting for our client, Sisu Longevity Studio, at Victory Ridge.

From contrast therapy and PEMF to the vibroacoustic lounger and mobility and training area, guests jumped right in and experienced what Sisu is all about.

What we especially love about the concept is the community behind it. Sisu was created to be a communal space where people can connect, try new things together, build healthy routines, and invest in staying strong and capable for the years ahead.

It was pretty great seeing the space full of people and doing exactly what it was designed to do.

Congrats to the Sisu team on bringing the vision to life! 🎉

Downtown COS, your grocery run just got a serious upgrade.

The Warehouse Urban Grocer is open right across from Weidner Field, and it’s already bringing the best kind of neighborhood market energy to downtown.

Fresh produce. Butcher and seafood counters. Handmade sandwiches. Craft coffee. Chef-prepared meals. Housemade pasta. Pantry staples. Local goods. Plenty of reasons to stop in even when you only planned to grab one thing.

This project has all the ingredients we love: a great client vision, a meaningful downtown location, a building with history, and a design story centered on fresh new function without losing old character.

Two awards. One skyline moment. A whole lot of joy. ✨

Last Thursday, SDG celebrated at the ASID Crystal Awards at Empower Field in Denver, and oh, what a night!

Our RYZE Skyline Lounge project received two Crystal Awards: 🏆 Single Space: Dedicated Function  and 🏆 Commercial Project by a Small Firm

Packed room. Stunning views. Great food. Even better connections.

We’re so grateful to ASID Colorado, our project partners, ownership group, and everyone who helped bring RYZE Skyline Lounge to life.

Still smiling. Still celebrating. And very excited for what’s next. 🧡

Michigan in May was a whole vibe.

This spring, our SDG team took two trips north to visit project work coming to life in some seriously beautiful places.

First up: The Mill in Frankenmuth. Then: Harbor View Inn on Mackinac Island.

Two trips. Two project teams. Two communities we’re so excited to be connected to.

We love getting to step inside a space, check in on the details, see the progress, and feel that moment when everything starts coming together.

And Michigan in early summer? Pretty hard to beat.

Feeling grateful, excited, and very ready to share more.

HD Expo 2026, you were a blur in the best way. ✨

Our SDG team headed to Las Vegas for a few fast-paced days of hospitality design inspiration, vendor meetings, product discovery, lunches, dinners, happy hours, and lots of great photos.

We saw innovative products. We met incredible people. We came home with fresh ideas and full camera rolls.

The best part? Connecting with the makers, reps, and partners who help bring beautiful spaces to life. 
We’re heading home inspired. ✨

We love a model home launch moment.

We’re excited to celebrate the launch of the Jackson Creek model with our partners at Aspen View Homes.

Our team designed this model to create an inviting, inspiring experience for future homeowners. The kind of space where people can walk in and immediately imagine life unfolding there.

This launch is a great example of the work we’re proud to do with the View Homes across a 4-state region: thoughtful model design, strong partnership, and spaces that help communities come to life.

Congratulations to the Aspen View Homes team on the Jackson Creek launch. We’re thrilled to be part of it!

Last Thursday was a great morning at Patty Jewett for the 9 Before 9 kickoff.

Chris Senger represented SDG, and it was a great chance to connect with so many people who make the Colorado Springs business community such a strong one. The weather was perfect, the conversations were easy, and it was just a really enjoyable way to spend the morning.

We also appreciated seeing First Tee included as part of the event and the added community focus that brought. Looking forward to the next 9 Before 9 event!
