MANtiques: History Was Built on Testosterone Old World MANtiques is a little bit of this and a whole lot of that!

I have not been able to find a great spot with a collection of items that was varied enough to hold my attention. So, I will be curating items for other collectors like me with things that I find interesting, things I already have an example of, or items in my collection that I need to let go of to make more room for new finds! Instead of letting these things get lost or hidden away never to be seen again, I hope they find a new home with someone that appreciates them as much as I do!

More progress on the or . All completely lock jointed like a giant puzzle. It is holding itself together prior to wood pins and glue. .

Ok so I need to do a box joint for my next restoration and I have never done one (well I have done a few dovetails with my Dad when I was like 9, so of coarse he did most the work and I took the praise).
So after purchasing a I fashioned on this sliding . It is very crude and I learned a lot of what to do for the next . A lot of fine tuning will be going on way before I tackle the big project, but I feel fairly proud of my first box joint with no real previous experience.

Ok, Finally able to show off this as it was as from my one of my followers to another and we would never want to ruin a surprise.
This was a very fun build and I feel like the Macabre vs the weathered patterning balanced very well. All of this run through an in-line dimmer switch to give the perfect ambience lighting effect.
I absolutely love builds! I am willing to take very explicit instructions with multiple stages of progress checking, or like this a very abstract / simple idea, and let me run with it.
