Well, what can i say about last night's class and stay classy ????? The conversations and the language would curl your hair. All of our quiet ones open up after a while - we know it is going to happen, But when our quiet Sandy opened up and let the D word fly, we were ALL shocked ! ( and if you don't know what the D word is, I for sure ain't gonna tell ya). And later we had conversations about "medical" stuff and things i never knew existed. Our time is spent creating, laughing, getting an education and eating - - who could ask for more ????? There are porch geese in every stage of completion but look what got finished

Just getting around to re-capping our Thursday evening class - it has been crazy and dramatic with lots of ups and downs since then. When we spend time together week after week, we share our families as well as our stories. We laugh, offer advice, we jab and joke and make light of things but when one of us hurts, we all feel it. We had a rough medical situation this week that is not my story to tell, but I can say it ended with a miracle for which we are all more than grateful. And speaking of grateful - - I have the best group of ladies that I am extremely grateful for. Not only do they lift me up every week and listen to me repeat my stories over and over, they bring things to share to make our lives easier - like treats, plates, plastic utensils, special paints and sprays and embelishments they come across, T-shirt rags, paper towels, we all get a delicious homemade birthday cake and i have super helpers that clean up at the end of the evening. We do paint - - we have proof, but it is the stuff you can't see that means the most

Great time last night - - we had chocolate ice cream, laughter, stories, medical situations, happy, happy, happy baby news, adorable baby pictures, frog heads smashing, some painting, voting stories, some gossip and a lovely time together. We had a few missing so not much got finished but here is our first desk goose with lots of porch geese in the making

Crazy time last night - - lots of laughter, conversation and delicious peach laden birthday cake. Only a few things got finished . . the Thursday group does not seen to accomplish as much as our Tuesday group . . . I think is is the screen time and conversations that hold them back. We will work on that. But we had fun and that is the purpose

Great time last night - - - Mr and Mrs Porch Goose were a BIG hit !!! There were oooohhhs and aaahhhs and the 2 that were ready were snatched up in seconds with 10 more on a waiting list. They are first come first serve because of the slow process of pouring, drying time , cleaning and firing. They are not mass produced and well worth waiting for. We were loud, irreverent, happily slurping ice cream, paint was flying and a good time was had by all. And just look at what got finished and the beautiful shots our photographer captured , , ,

Look what we have !!!!!!! A Porch Goose (17 inches) as well as a Desk Goose. Dontcha just love them ????? They are what we used to call a hot ticket - - guess the modern version of that is "trending". So excited to be able to paint one today and fire her tomorrow !

Thursday class was fun, as always - - I Loved showing off the porch goose and the desk goose and the muddy boots and getting a great reaction. Mr and Mrs Porch Goose are the hot item right now and i can't wait to see how they get dressed up. Many thanks to my cook that brings me dinner and treats, my cleaner upper at the end of the evening, my on-the-ball photographer and my person that gives me the warning stink-eye when i am not keeping my opinions to myself. Believe it or not, she is all rolled into one and takes very good care of me - she has her hands full !!!! Thanks from the bottom of my heart, Soonie - you make the world a much better place
