Don’t buy candles that are harmful. There are tons of good options. Know what to look for when picking out candles:

🚫 Soy Blend (its blended with Paraffin 👎🏻)

And of course, always check for the manufacturers credibility when it comes to phthalates and paraben fragrance additives!

Take small steps to reduce your family’s exposure to these chemicals:

💧Avoid bottled water - Plastisizers in the bottles leach into the water overtime. This process is sped up by exposure to heat or sun!

🧴Research Products - Choose products that advertise as phthalate-free! Thousands of products use phthalates in their fragrance to help the scent adhere to your skin. If your unable find any information, than the odds are that product contains phthalates. Females usually have higher rates of exposure than males due to their increased use of health and beauty products.

🥝 Prioritize Fresh Foods - Foods that are packaged in plastics, whether hard plastic or cellophane, test for increased levels of phthalates. Some products to avoid include prepackaged cups of applesauce/fruit/pudding, fast food, condiment packages, soda, and ready to eat meals.
