This weekend, November 1 -2 will be the last Big DC Flea event at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, VA. As you may have heard, the building was sold to Ikea. However, next year the plan is for the popular DC Flea to be held at another, as yet to be announced location.

It is always an excellent gift and decorating source for the upcoming holidays. Wedgwood & Whimsies will be in booth #27, along the right side wall. We will have lots of Wedgwood for all levels of collectors, from the 18th Century to modern pieces. In addition, we have colorful crystal and glass, European porcelain and of course the Whimsies - fun merchandise to lift your spirit.

We spent the better part of today loading the trailer and cars with all our goodies to head out to the Dulles Expo Center to begin the booth set up. The poor transmission screams as it hauls the little trailer and merch. I follow in my Prius, equally stuffed. Watching all the other dealers set up too I appreciate the hard work that goes into making a show special.

And for the eagle eyes amongst you, you can just barely see the back end of my sweet, stock 67 VW bug. My other passion!! I hope to see some of you folks there this weekend.

Today we're setting up for our show at the DC Flea in Chantilly, Virginia. Somehow I need to arrange all this stock today for the weekend show which opens Saturday from 9:00 to 6:00, on Sunday from 11:00 to 5:00.
