If I'm being honest, the last couple of weeks have been HARD.💔🥺

Life has a way of reminding us that not every chapter is easy. Between family challenges, loss, and a few disappointments along the way, I've found myself feeling a little defeated lately.😔

But one thing I've learned is that progress isn't always loud. Sometimes it's simply choosing to keep showing up.💫

Even when business is slow. Even when plans don't work out. Even when life feels heavy.

So today, I'm grateful for the people who continue to follow along, support my small business, share my posts, and encourage me as I build Next Chapter With Keri one step at a time.

Four years ago, a young girl from Seoul, South Korea came into our lives as an exchange student.

Almost instantly, she stopped being our exchange student and became our "borrowed daughter."💫

Over the past four years, we've shared holidays, celebrations, road trips, vacations, late-night conversations, laughter, tears, and countless memories that will stay with us forever. Watching her grow into the incredible young woman she is today has been one of the greatest gifts our family has ever received.💞

While it's hard to imagine our home without her, I can't wait to see what her next chapter holds.💫

One of the reasons I chose the name Next Chapter With Keri is because life is always changing. Sometimes those changes are exciting, sometimes they're difficult, and sometimes they're bittersweet. But every season leads us into a new chapter.

Thank you, sweet girl, for allowing us to be part of yours. No matter how many miles separate us, you'll always have a home in South Carolina and a family cheering you on.

Not every step forward will feel impressive.

Some days, progress looks small, messy, and painfully slow.

That does not mean it is not working.

Too many people quit because they expected quick results from a long journey.

Growth rarely happens in giant leaps.

It happens in quiet decisions repeated over and over again.

Keep going.

Keep learning.

Keep showing up.

The person who refuses to stop will eventually pass the person who was only motivated when things felt easy.🏆🔥
