I’m not exaggerating. Three compliments in one morning at the farmers market.

I paired two brand new arrivals together — colorful bone bead rondelles from India and our new seashell resin beads — and apparently created a conversation starter.

The bone beads are hand-dyed by artisans who have been working with this craft for generations. The colors are rich and bold. They have weight and presence.

The seashells inside resin add that “magic treasure” feeling that makes people want to look closer.

Together it’s giving vacation energy. Beach town wandering energy. Main character energy.

This took me maybe twenty minutes to string. No advanced skills required. Just beads, wire, a clasp, and the willingness to make something beautiful.

No thoughts. Just German resin flowers on strawberry tissue paper.

These are small-batch made by a multi-generational bead family in Germany.

We laid them all out because we wanted to see them dance around together like petals in the breeze, and now I don’t want to put them away.
