Live (color)FULLY™️: inspire your creativity with craft supplies from around the world

When your entire personality is “loves color.”

This is what happens when you refuse to settle for the same dull supplies everyone else is using. Every bead, every stone, every strand—chosen because it made me do a little happy dance.

Some people collect shoes. I collect future jewelry that doesn’t exist yet.

If your craft corner looks like a rainbow exploded and you feel zero shame about it, we should probably be friends.

No one warned me that stringing beads would become my therapy.

But here we are. The world gets loud, my brain won’t stop, and somehow the rhythm of bead-wire-bead-wire brings everything back down.

This is what I wish more people understood about making things with your hands—it’s not really about the finished piece. It’s about those 20 minutes where nothing else exists.

Just you. Just color. Just the quiet click of glass and stone.

If you’ve been craving this feeling, consider this your sign.

No new beads. No tutorial. Just me and whatever was already in the drawer, and a little crafty session.

Mis-matched fish earrings.
A paracord bracelet.
A bag charm I’ll probably never take off.
A pin for my jacket.

Your stash is ready when you are.

What will YOU make with what you already have?

A whole school of hand-painted ceramic fish just swam into the shop and I am utterly charmed.
Look at those tiny raised details. The scales. The little fins. These are beads you’ll want to keep playing with, because they feel so good in the hand. Every one is painted by hand, so no two are perfectly alike, and that’s exactly the point.
I know summer jewelry is calling your name right now. Maybe it’s friendship bracelets for a girls trip. Maybe it’s a cheerful anklet that makes you smile every time you look down. Maybe you just need something whimsical on your craft table to remind you that creating is supposed to be fun.
These are live in the shop right now.

Father’s Day is June 15th.

Which means you have about two and a half weeks to figure out what to get the man who “doesn’t need anything” and “is fine, really.”

Here’s what I’ve learned: Dads don’t want more stuff. They want to know you thought about them.

A handmade bracelet hits different. It says I spent time on this. It says I know you. It says I picked these colors because they’re you.

And the best part? It’s actually easy. We’re not talking complicated wire-wrapping or advanced techniques. We’re talking elastic cord, a handful of beads in colors he’d actually wear, and twenty minutes of your time.

Matte black. Slate gray. Sand. Bone. Maybe a single pop of his favorite team’s color if that’s his thing.

Our bone beads are perfect for this. Earthy, masculine, substantial. The kind of bead that doesn’t look “crafty.”

Make it while watching TV. Make it with the kids. Make it at midnight the week before because that’s when you remembered.

He’ll wear it every day. I promise.

Rainy weekend? Perfect beading weather.

There’s something about stringing beads that soothes the soul.
No plans, no pressure.
Just color and creativity.

Hope your long weekend includes a little something that makes you feel this calm.

There’s something I’ve noticed after 15 years in this business that I can’t quite explain.

When Sandra and I touch things that have been sitting around for a while, they start selling again. We’ve talked about it. We’ve marveled at it. And this week, something happened that made me stop in my tracks.

I was cleaning out the big African basket where I keep all my bags, and I pulled out this beautiful bag I hadn’t touched in years. It’s made by a woman named Jamie Lauren . She creates them from authentic ethnic textiles and finishes them with our Indian tassels.

Two days later, she appeared in my Instagram. After seven years away from the creative space, she was coming back. And then she placed an order.

I don’t know how to explain the way we’re all connected when we work with things made by hand. When you buy something that another creative has touched with their mind, their hands, their heart, it carries something different than mass-manufactured supplies from a big box store.

Maybe it sounds a little woo woo. Maybe you get it completely.

Either way, to everyone in this magical creative space with us: we see you.
We honor you.
We thank you.

It’s a pretty special place to be.💗🫶✨

Hills I will die on as a creative entrepreneur in a mass-produced world.
I have a passion for handmade things with a story.
So I built something different.
I started this business because I realized many of us are tired. Tired of walking into big box craft stores and feeling nothing. Tired of fluorescent lighting and endless aisles of the same mass-produced supplies that everyone else is using. Tired of buying things that have no story, no soul, no human hands behind them.

Every bead, every supply, every piece in this shop was chosen with intention. Sourced from artisans around the world who pour their craft into what they make. Curated for women who want their creativity to mean something.
This isn’t about being anti-convenience. It’s about being pro-meaning.
When you shop here, you’re not just getting supplies. You’re getting a story. You’re supporting a family in Ghana, artisans in Thailand, a woman in India, and traditions that have been passed down for generations. You’re voting with your dollar for a world where handmade still matters.
The big box stores will be fine without you.
We thrive because of you.
And I will die on every single one of these hills.

If you’re nodding along, you belong here.
Save this.
Share it with a fellow creative who gets it.
And come shop with intention.

Whimsy isn’t the escape. It’s the point.

That little thing you’ve been wanting to make? The color that caught your eye? The bead you picked up just because it made you smile?

That’s not procrastination. That’s you finding your way back to yourself.

The world is heavy. Whimsy is how we stay soft.

Start with one bead. See where it takes you.
