Sending so much love to all you mothers out there whether you are a human mom, a bonus mom, a dog/cat/cow mom, a plant mom—nurturing comes in many different flavors. And, sending a lot of peace to anyone having a difficult day today.

Seven years ago today I opened Bloomstall at the Columbia Arts Building. I don’t know what I expected to come of this little whim, but that very first weekend you showed up and bought nearly every stem both days. You have been showing up ever since and I am so grateful. Even on the hard days (and there have been many- this isn’t a hobby) it isn’t lost on me that I get do do what I love each and every day. I have met the very best people while peddling flowers these past seven years. So thank you forever and always for being part of this journey.

Join us for our All About Dahlias Workshop!

Join us for an afternoon of learning how to successfully grow dahlias in pots and raised beds with our very own Lindsay Hufford.

We will discuss the pros and cons of growing dahlias in pots, planting instructions, how to care for plants and maximize blooms throughout the season, and winter storage.

Participants will receive 3 dahlia tubers from reliable cut flower varieties, soil amendments, and a pair of harvesting shears.

Thank you all for an amazing Valentine’s Day! So much work goes into getting flowers to the ones you love. We have been planning this Valentine’s Day since Valentine’s 2025. I couldn’t do it alone and I’m so glad I had the very best group of people surrounding me this week. Vibes were high and I hope they had as much fun as I did while working our booties off! So thank you Lindsay, Molly, Makenzie and also not pictured: CJ, Aimee, and Max. You are simply the best! Now, I’m going to be a pest about this- add water to your vases if you got flowers this week!!
