Just wanted to say a few special Thank Yous to some extraordinary people and dear friends who helped make this wedding phenomenal! Jeremy Robbins and Megan Sauls, my people, my friends, did such a fantastic job on the flowers and pulling the event space together. It was enchanting! Barretts Nursery was closed the week of Christmas and New Year’s and still took time from their holiday to deliver gorgeous palms and ferns. Mi Mi’s Bridal, thank you for making the guys look so handsome!! Rustic Hawk Catering, oh my!!! Fantastic food and such a gracious crew! Scotty, my new friend, best bartender ever!! I know Brandon is heartbroken, but I am sooo excited for you to come live with me!! Lol. T & S Liquor, Tena, thank you for everything…we had a good time! The venue, Blueberry Peace Farms, just gorgeous! I will be adding photos from the wedding when they are ready. Which leads me to the photographer. Devon, Sweet Southern Photography, when you were born you fit in the palm of one hand, I have had the honor to watch you grow into such a strong and talented young woman, wife, and mother. You have done your Grandmother proud. I know just how much she loved you. To my mother , sister, and my cousin Calen, wow!!! Without you three…thanks for putting up with my delightful self when I’m stressed. Love you all and I know that a Thank you is not enough, but Thank You from the bottom of my heart. This crew! Many of you know, my only child got married on New Year’s Eve. These boys grew up at my house…Chase has known them most of his life. Took the girls, Shelby and Alesha right into the group and have loved the both of them. As any of them can tell you, I have threanted them, lectured them, rolled my eyes at them, but most of all loved them. I would take on the world for each of them, and win. That day and evening, they did me proud. They worked hard and diligently so that Chase and Shelby could have the perfect wedding. They did not stop. These rattled headed boys have turned into fine young men that I am proud to call my own. I have one biological son but these are mine too and I love them so! I would like to thank their parents for sharing them and to congratulate them on a job well done. They are fine young men. Thank you for being Chase’s brothers and all you did for Chase and Shelby on their wedding day. Always know that I love you and how very proud of you that I am. One is missing from the picture. He is married now and his wife is expecting. When she got tired , he saw to her needs first and took her home to rest. He also married Chase and Shelby! Belinda, Alesha is not smoking a cigar. She had to be like the boys so she is holding one. Please let her father know that! Lol. Love this entire group always!

So, my only child is getting married tomorrow! House full, terrible weather, I have finished the wedding cake and almost finished with the groom’s cake, dogs running amuck…to say I am a bit stressed out…lol. My son decided to give me my surprise gift early so I would have it for my dress tomorrow . This is why Mother’s do what they do. Not for the beautiful gifts, he has great taste, but for the reasons behind it. It is engraved Remember Mother I Love You. I will always love him…funny our children will never exactly how much we love and cherish them!

Good morning!! This little cutie was up early this morning getting into trouble. I was having coffee when he ”walked” by. So tiny, barely discernible…that is the base of 2 of my fingers. When I realized what it was, I picked him up to carry outside, only to see that he was tangled up in some sort of thread! There are several lessons to be had this morning. 1. If you think he is tiny, you should try freeing his tiny delicate minuscule itty bitty little legs from the thread of whatever! 2. Someone gets up earlier than me to get into trouble. 3. Don’t be afraid to ask for a little help if you need it. 4. Take a moment, observe your surroundings, someone may need help. 5. It’s not how you start the day, it’s how you finish. Unwrapped, he was deposited on a patio plant to wait for the sun to come out and the rain to begin!
