Spring is the perfect time for a reset—starting with a good, intentional clean up. ✨

We created The Ervin Edit: Spring Reset — a four-week checklist to help you clear, simplify, and refresh your space before diving into the design details. Although - we did throw in a few Bonus styling tips. 😉

We’re focusing on the foundation first… because a beautifully designed home starts with a clean, clutter-free one.

Let’s talk about scale. We are not huge rule followers when it comes to design, but we do rely heavily on scale. If your space doesn’t feel quite right, it’s probably because the scale or balance is off. For example- having too small of a rug, your mirror or artwork is not filing up the space, or your chair looks puny next to your sofa. When we designed this dining space, we knew something large needed to be in the open space between the windows. The whole wall was windows and the ceilings 12ft. This large art piece really pulled it all together.
