🎨What an incredible weekend! 🎨

Serving as a juror for the Columbus Arts Festival has been a true highlight of my career. Having the opportunity to help recognize and celebrate the work of fellow artists was both humbling and inspiring.
The talent, dedication, and creativity represented throughout this festival have been extraordinary. This experience reinforced why the arts matter and why events like this are so important to our communities. Congratulations to all of the artists👏👏

I’m especially grateful to the Greater Columbus Arts Council staff and volunteers for making the entire experience exceptional. From the jury process to the festival itself, every interaction reflected a deep commitment to local and national artists and a genuine passion for creating opportunities for creative expression. Thank you for your trust, dedication, and for putting together such a phenomenal festival.

As the festival wraps up with its final day tomorrow, I’m feeling a lot of gratitude—for the opportunity, for the artists whose work inspired me, and for the people behind the scenes who make an event of this scale possible.

It’s been an honor to be part of it.

Grateful to and the Ohio Craft Museum for awarding me a Quick Grant for Artists. This support gave me the opportunity to deepen my exploration of painting and fiber through a new installation.

This color series features small cotton thread weavings combined with gouache - an ongoing exploration between material, mark, and process.

I’m also looking forward to attending OAC’s Arts Impact Ohio conference in May for continued professional development as I grow my work as both an artist and museum professional.

I am pleased to share that my work Pentaptych was accepted into the 22nd Annual Bryn Du Art Show!

Having this piece exhibited at a historical venue known for its tradition of excellence and long standing support of artists and creative community, is especially meaningful. Opportunities like this make it rewarding to share work that reflects my ongoing exploration of material, process, and personal narrative.

Grateful to the organizers and jurors for including my work, and congratulations to the other artists selected for this year’s exhibition. Looking forward to seeing the final display come together.

✨ Closing out the year on a high note ✨

I’m honored to be exhibiting one of my fiber pieces in Artist Commune: Being and Belonging at OSU Urban Arts Space.
This work grew out of a desire to stitch together personal identity, familial traditions, and the quiet threads that tie us to community. To share it in a show centered on connection and collective presence feels especially meaningful as the year wraps up.
