Ever notice that creepy red or pink residue in your shower? 👹😨🚿 It’s usually one of two things: Pink Mold or Iron Stains...here is how to tell them apart, how we clean them up and how to keep them from coming back!

🍥Pink Mold: We have learned it is actually an airborne bacteria. It feels slimy, fuzzy, and thrives on soap scum in damp shower corners.

🤘🏼Iron Stains: This comes from your water supply. It feels flat or rusty, and you will usually also see it in your toilet tank or sinks.

How we clean Pink Mold: Spray it with 3% hydrogen peroxide OR a dish soap and vinegar combination. Let it sit for 10 minutes, scrub, and rinse! For Iron Stains: We use a dedicated rust-remover or a paste of lemon juice and baking soda to dissolve the mineral buildup.🧼🧤

Turn on your exhaust fan and squeegee your shower walls after use to slow the return process of the residue. No moisture means no mess! ✨
