Mug life!

Broken.
It was my most coveted absolute favorite mug of all-time. Dropped on the hard floor; crash. Expletives flew. Pieces everywhere, my heart honestly a little bit broken too. Fast forward through an hour or two of semi-grieving, I came to realize something. I will make not only another... an even better mug but I will make a whole set. Thus is the cycle of ceramic adversity, inspiration, and rebuild.

Crafty by Nature will be at Heart State Brewing for an event benefiting veterans through Mission 22... We will have some of our pottery available!!

Join us Saturday MAY 27th at Heart State Brewing (Gahanna, OH) for BBQ, beer and good times. Enjoy TWO full "Backyard BBQ" menus as Chef Jake and Chef Ben go head-to-head in a competition for YOUR votes. YOU get to decide which Chef wins. Barbecue buffet from 3pm to 7pm, and event goes to 11pm.

Heart State will provide their fantastic craft beer, and Noble Cut Distillery will be offering up some delicious cocktails. There will also be live music and a mini Farmer's Market for local vendors.

In honor of Memorial Day, a portion of all proceeds will go to Mission 22! A truly great foundation offering support to our veterans and their families.

Tonight we were part of a great event at Heart State Brewing to celebrate the volunteers behind Speak for the Unspoken, a dog rescue dedicated to dogs with special needs such as vision and hearing deficits. Nick Singer and I were selling our pottery, a dollar from every beer went to the dog rescue, and many adoptable dogs were mingling with us. We got to sell next to our wonderful friends at Shay Butter Soap too! Thank you everyone who came by!
