I know I said I wasn’t sharing anything else until show day, but I just finished these up and had to share with all my Buckeyes and Bobcats because spooky season just got a little more school spirited.
Football, fall, Ohio pride, and a little Halloween mixed in.

Alright. I’m done now.
No more sneak peeks until Saturday. I mean it this time.

One piece. TWO seasons.

I wanted to make something a little different for LM Creations, so I grabbed a 3ft wood cutout and turned it into a double duty piece for fall AND winter. Pumpkins now, snowman later. Switch it up with the seasons without having to find room for another decoration.

This is one of the last sneak peeks you’re getting from me before SHOW DAY! I’ve been busy creating, painting, and getting everything ready, and I can’t wait to bring it all to Groovy Plants Ranch this weekend!

📍 Saturday: 9 AM–5 PM
📍 Sunday: 9 AM–4 PM

Come shop, check out the vendors, enjoy all the plants, and see what I’ve been working on in person. There’s a whole lot more waiting for you than what I’ve been showing you here.

That’s it for the sneak peeks. See you Saturday!

Another one ready to head to next weekend’s event!

I had to make a little Buckeye inspired piece for this one and with the Buckeyes heading to Iowa today, it felt like the perfect time to share it.

There’s something pretty damn cool about college football traditions, and the Hawkeye Wave is one of them. At the end of the first quarter, everyone in Kinnick turns toward the Stead Family Children’s Hospital to wave to the kids and families watching from the windows. Ohio State fans will be joining in on the tradition today, too.

So, Buckeye fans… this one’s for you.

Go Bucks! O-H! 🌰

Sunday thoughts from LM Creations.

Over the years, I’ve saved a hell of a lot of quotes about art, creativity, healing, and being yourself. Some stuck with me more than others. Not because they sounded good, but because they put words to things I’ve felt for a long time.

One of them has always hit a little different:

“The point of healing is to become a weirdo again. To be an artist. To be unhinged. To create wildly and freely with whimsy and ingenuity… that’s the point.”

Honestly, I get it.
There’s something about making s**t with your own hands, chasing an idea, trying something that might completely suck, getting paint everywhere, and not giving a damn if it makes sense to anyone else.

That’s a big part of what LM Creations has become for me. These quotes have lived in my head for years, so I decided to finally put some of my favorites together and share them.

Create weird. Create messy. Create boldly. Create because you freaking can.

That’s the point.

One thing is for sure… I may love to paint, but I also really enjoy working with floral arrangements.

I painted this wooden boxed pumpkin and then had some fun bringing it to life with artificial florals for the perfect fall centerpiece.

This is just another project getting checked off the list as I prep for my upcoming show at Groovy Plants Ranch. I’ve got a lot of creating to do between now and then, but I’m having a hell of a time bringing these ideas to life.

Excited to be back again this year.
