Hey everyone! I wanted to take a moment to tell you a bit about myself, my business, and what inspires me. I am the girlfriend of a Marine, the mom of 3 beautiful kiddos, a bonus mom to 3, and an adopted mom to many! I am from a small town in Southeast Kansas. I was born here and have lived in the area my entire life. I don’t plan on leaving. This is my home!
It was honestly never really my intention to start a business, as I am a pretty busy mom. I enjoy crafting, and creating personal items with sentiment. I created a few things and people started to ask if I would be interested in selling my pieces. From there it just grew. I am inspired by many things, but I am driven by kindness, and seeing that I actually possess the ability to make people smile. Seeing my finished product only pushes me to create something better the next time.
For me, crafting is therapy. I am an outgoing person, with a very big, loud, and honest personality, but what some may not know is that I suffer from severe Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Depression. I was the victim of a medical malpractice in July 2016. It was life altering. My anxiety has made it very difficult for me to socialize outside of my home, let alone work. For me, art is my outlet. Taking time to sit in quiet and use my imagination to create visual art. I decided that starting a business would give me the opportunity to do what I love, while providing for our family financially. It has also helped to ease me back in to society on a level that I am comfortable with.
In spite of all of the bad things, I have decided to turn this to a positive and to raise awareness. I look forward to creating many more pieces of art! Thank you for taking the time to read. I look forward to your business.
