Riverlane Clay Small batch pottery made in Columbus, Ohio. For a faster response, email [email protected] I've always been a maker. I love doing custom work.

Since I was very young, I was taught to work with my hands – building, baking, sewing, creating... everything. And because of that, I've worked as an artist in various mediums all my life. It's brought me great joy and creative fulfillment. My favorite things to work with are fabric and clay. I've been sewing for as long as I can remember, and especially enjoy working with vintage fabrics and uniq

ue finds, crafting and creating one of a kind pieces. I enjoy making clothes, gifts, and little everyday things that can be useful in life. I started working with clay in 2015, and am still learning more and more everyday. I've been throwing clay at the wheel for about a year, and my skill improves with each mug, plate and vase. I'm inspired by the materials, and love to highlight them as much as possible, whether is vintage character sheets that remind me of my childhood bedroom, or the earthiness of the fired clay showing through a transparent glaze, I continue to let the materials lead me on this journey. I hope you can enjoy a little piece of my art in your life, too. So, if you're looking for a set of soup crocks like the ones your grandma when you were little, or an outfit for your kiddo made out of the same Star Wars sheets you had in the 80s, please send me a message. Let's talk about how we can bring your vision to life.

Top 10 favorite mug designs (from my current listings). And tbh, this changes by the day & my mood. I love them all, obviously. 🥳

I bought her some Legos at the thrift store today, though, so she’s fine.

People say wild things. I am generally unbothered. I think most people mean what they say from a good place, but sometimes it doesn’t land that way.

My weakness is posting finished work. I restocked all the carved rainbow & sunshine things over the weekend. Tumblers with lids, thumblers, mugs, even a pitcher, big vase and some planters!

Someone told me he hoped this mug would become obsolete. I told him I wholly agree.

I’d be delighted to see these mugs sit on my shelf forever and never get purchased, especially if it means no one is being mistreated by ICE. And honestly, by the time I got these out of the kiln, they had cooled down quite a bit. It’s a mug I never wanted to design, but when things got really bad in Minnesota and around the country, I needed to put my rage on clay.

There are still daily reports of ICE targeting innocent people in our communities, so the terror continues for some. Hopefully less and less each day until ICE becomes obsolete.
