6 years ago, I married my best friend! He is now obligated to help with Lovebug weddings foreveeerr.

This was before I knew anything about the wedding world and was working in retail flowers. I was also reminiscing about how perfect the flowers were thanks to Bradley Tingley. You can get his lovely designs Market Blooms

Just looking back a lot has changed, and that mostly due to the biggest change of all, losing my brother unexpectedly. His birthday will be on the 4th, and it's very difficult to let the years pass without him. It's hard for me to then celebrate my birthday a couple of weeks later, so please be patient with me during this time of year. 💗💗

There's just something about 🕯candlelight & flowers💫
I know many florists don't like messing with candles, and I understand that the clean-up is annoying. Hear me out as a sustainable florist, I still offer candles. Renting is ultimately more sustainable than each couple purchasing from Amazon and reselling on Marketplace. sidenote, stop sleeping on Marketplace, I see glassware there all the time! The end result is pretty worth it, in my opinion.

Lovebug offers many candle rentals, even flameless for venues that dont allow an open flame - just ask!

Trying a different style of post, I really can't stress enough how much I love putting color palettes together in flower form! I love doing this when I'm unsure of how flowers will look together, just grabbing specific flower images, removing the background, and collaging them all together.

So I thought it would be fun to grab some inspo images off my pinterest homepage (art, bugs, and more art, in case anyone was wondering) and make some different color palettes that I would be stoked to do in a real wedding or event!

Lilac Dreampop inspired by 's lily illustration

Retro Sunset Moth inspired by nature's very own sunset moth. Which flies during the day, and its color is caused by an optical interferance, the tiny scales scattering light

And a classic, 'Vase with Pink Roses' 1890 by Vincent Van Gogh, one of the most famous troubled but relatable painters. This is one of many he painted while staying at saint-paul asylum. Also, this originally used to be pink roses. The pigment has since faded.
