When preparing a property for inspection, please make sure all windows are accessible and ready to be tested.

✅ Windows should open and close properly
🔒 Windows should lock securely
🪟 Screens should be installed where applicable
💧 No broken insulated glass units (IGUs) — no fogged-up glass, condensation, or moisture between the panes
🚫 Windows should not be blocked by furniture, belongings, or other items

A failed seal in an insulated glass unit can cause fogging or moisture between the panes and may be noted as a defect during an inspection.

These simple steps can help prevent inspection issues, reduce surprises, and make the process easier for everyone involved.

If you have a window that isn’t operating correctly, won’t lock, is missing a screen, or has fogged/moisture-filled glass, give us a call before the inspection!
