📣 ANTIQUE BOOTH OWNERS: When was the last time you gave your booth a MAJOR revamp?
One of the biggest mistakes I see booth owners make is letting their space stay the same for months at a time. You may have beautiful merchandise, great prices, and a booth full of wonderful finds, but if your display never changes, you’re giving repeat shoppers very little reason to stop and look again.
My rule of thumb? Give your booth a major refresh at least every 6 weeks!
And no, that doesn’t mean you have to buy all new inventory. It means getting creative with what you already have!
✨ Move furniture around and create a completely different layout.
✨ Bring merchandise out of the back and give it a place of prominence.
✨ Rearrange your shelves and tabletops to create new vignettes.
✨ Rotate seasonal merchandise and introduce new colors, textures, and themes.
✨ Move items that haven’t sold to a new location. Sometimes, all a piece needs is a different spotlight!
✨ Remove stale inventory and replace it with fresh finds.
Here’s something important to remember: Your repeat customers are one of your biggest assets. These are people who already enjoy shopping your booth, but if they walk by week after week and see the same things in the same places, eventually, they’ll stop looking.
You want them to wonder, “What’s new in here?” every time they visit!
Think of your booth as a little retail store, not a storage unit. Every square foot should be working for you, and your displays should continually give shoppers a reason to slow down, explore, and discover something they didn’t notice on their last visit.
You don’t need more inventory to make your booth feel new. Sometimes, you just need a new perspective and a little elbow grease!
Remember: A booth that never changes teaches shoppers to walk on past it. ❤️
