Good morning!
Thanksgiving is in just 21 days! In this time of need we want you to know that there are several different events and opportunities for people to get help with food or Thanksgiving dinner.

Concho CAN is hosting a community dinner on the 21st. At Mellon Center (99 frontage road)

There will be a community meal at Concho Elementary School on 11/14 from 4-6 in the cafeteria. Chicken, Mashed potatoes and veggies.

Making Magic is going to give out full turkey dinners with instructions to cook in a pit of you don’t have the means to cook a turkey. On 11/25, for details go to their page or ask their board members.

Concho Community Coalition is hosting the Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving (11/27) any questions can be texted to 928.245.6737 or send a message to our page.

These are several very good opportunities to pick up food.

Please take advantage of all of them, in these trying times the more the better so you can stock up. Even if you pick up a turkey dinner for your family you are 100% still welcome to come eat at the Community Thanksgiving dinner. That can be cooked in addition or even saved for Christmas. Don’t hesitate to “double dip” to make sure your family can eat.

In addition to these opportunities the School and Concho CAN are both running food drives with raffles to win pretty awesome prizes. So if you have food that you can spare (shelf stable, not expired) please do and enter to win tattoo gifts certificate or a whole convection oven that fits a small bird!

OCCAC is also got the regular Food box days and I believe working on Holiday boxes as well. So remember “Triple dip” if you need to. No one should go hungry, ever.

We as a community need to stick together when times get tough. No matter who you are, your political affiliation, your personal differences, we have to take care of each other and be there for our neighbors!

I’m praying for all of you out there and hope this crisis ends soon. In the meantime….spread the love!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
I know a lot more f you have contacted me for Candle orders. I appreciate you all so much for being patient with my surgery recovery. I’ll be back to making all my Xmas orders in the next couple weeks. I certainly wasn’t expecting the overwhelming amount of orders. You are all so amazing! 🤩

Please do not purchase items directly from me at Farmers markets, craft fairs…etc. Then go to return them at the stores they are in. It’s dishonest, rude and not what my brand is about. This also does not hurt me, it hurts the store. I am in no way affected. Please do not steal from the good people who own the local stores.

So as I’ve been sitting home recovering from surgery I have been mulling over an idea I’ve had and that a few friends also suggested. I would like to come up with a line of candle I make with repurposed containers.

So if you have old candles lying around you are gonna toss or even containers that can be used for candles, I would love them.

I will offer a 10% discount to anyone who gives me their old containers so I can repurpose them ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We will be at the Concho Community Coalition Craft Fair this Saturday!

Prices have unfortunately risen on wax and shipping so my prices have changed so that I can continue to give you quality candles with the same ingredients.
