This coming weekend we are looking forward to two wonderful events: Mother's Day and the NH Sheep and Wool Festival (https://nhswga.org/nh-sheep-wool-festival/) at the Deerfield Fairgrounds!

Kelly will be packing up lots of great yarns, books, fantastic accessories, special notions and tools, discounted items and more for the festival. We will have a fresh batch of Jackie Nyberg's amazing 'knit one, cluk two' yarn bowls, fancy yarn minder's from Lemonwood, new styles of yarn holder 'lazy susans' from local woodworker and knit appreciator Rick Boss; Atenti bags have been restocked as well as the cutest needle stoppers you ever did see from Fox & Pine and our supply of their Notion Nooks has never been better! All of these make GREAT Mother's Day gifts...If you aren't planning on visiting our booth at Sheep and Wool or you just want to have the best selection of gifts for mom, be sure to stop in the shop today or tomorrow as Kelly will be backing up the UHaul on Thursday and those items will be on their way to the festival!

Visiting us at Sheep and Wool? We will have a big NH Pins restock for the Fest so be sure to stop by to check out Karen's latest funky and fun designs. Also, say Hi to our gal Marci...She will be in and out of the booth on Saturday and hanging about all day on Sunday talking Elegant Ewe Travel (https://elegantewetravel.com/) and signing you up for her newsletter if you don't get it already! Be the first to know about any and all of her upcoming fiber-themed excursions around the world.

If you haven't checked out the NH Sheep and Wool Fest before, consider doing so this year!! It's a great weekend filled with amazing vendors from all around the Northeast and beyond, adorable fiber animals and incredible working sheep dogs, interesting demos and hands on workshops...Basically all things yarney and wooley. The Festival is open at the Deerfield Fairgrounds on Saturday May 9th from 9am-5pm and Sunday May 10th 9am-4pm. For more information, visit the NH Sheep and Wool Growers Association website- And we'll see you there!

Join us for a day filled with fabulous prizes, new product debuts and free patterns offered by big yarn companies and small designers alike. We are so inspired by the drive of our knitters and crocheters to make this world a better, kinder, more compassionate place! We have a couple giving opportunities to share with you...

On Saturday, April 11th, Knit for Food will be conducting their annual drive to help tackle the growing problem of food insecurity: The 6th Annual Knit for Food Knit-a-thon.
This 12-hour knitting marathon will raise funds for hunger and food insecurity through donations and sponsors. The event supports organizations including Feeding America, World Central Kitchen, No Kid Hungry, and Meals on Wheels, with 100% of donations divided equally among them. Kelly has created a team for The Elegant Ewe and invites any and everyone to join our team to raise money through sponsors or to simply to donate to this cause through Team Ewe. Click here (https://givebutter.com/knitforfood26/team-ewe-1/kellybridges1) for the link to donate (as well as join the team). And thank you for your generosity!

We'd also like to let you know about an opportunity to help out a local Concord business owner...If you are a fan of delicious baked goods, you probably are a fan of Table (https://www.tablenh.com/). Owner Chelsea's family suffered a devastating house fire recently and a Go Fund Me (link on Table’s website) has been created for our amazing community to help in their recovery from this tradegy. Please consider donating if you are a patron and have not heard about this already.
