Happy New Year! Just wanted to take a minute and thank all of you who supported us this fall during the ANESH shop hop. Up coming events at the shop; January is the annual sale everything is 20% off except items that are already marked down. We do have a door buster sale, Riley Blake kits are $20.00 for one, if you buy two they are $35.00. These are great kits that have everything to make the top. We have some classes scheduled: February 7th, Scrappy Friendship Quilt, January 21st, unfinished project class and March 14th, Paper Piecing Quilt. Sign ups and details at the shop. Samples will be at the shop. We have new fabric and patterns arriving at the shop weekly. Come on in, we can't wait to see you.

There has been a lot of confusion with the start of the ANESH shop hop. Because of Labor day weekend and the first falling on a Monday. The ANESH coordinators decided we could begin o the 29th. We will start on Friday, the 29th and you will get stamped and can purchase the shop hop fabric, but we will be closed on Saturday and Sunday. We will be open on Monday, the first from 10-5. You can find our regular hours and our shop hop hours in the magazine, which we have on sale at the shop for $12.95.
I hope this gave some clarification on when the ANESH shop hop begins.

Annual July sale begins today and runs through the month of July. Everything is 20% off in the entire store. Exceptions are sale corner, bolts in the cart and items that are already marked down. Don't miss out. All New England Shop Hop begins September 1st and runs through October. Magazines will be on sale at the shop. We will be closed Friday, July 4th and Saturday July 5th. Spring Fling Shop Hop starts tomorrow and goes through Sunday, till 2pm. Yes, we are typically closed on Thursday but the Golden Gese Quilt Shop will be open from 9-5 tomorrow for the shop hop. Hours are Thursday-Saturday 9-5 and Sunday 10-2. Don't miss out on this fun adventure and receiving some great things just for doing the shop hop. Passports are on sale for $9.00 and the gifts you receive are about a a $20.00 dollar value and then you have a chance for winning a daily door prize which is a book valued at about $20.00. Wow, and if you finish you have a chance to win a new sewing machine or a basket filled with seven yards of fabric and a $15 dollar gift certificate from each shop, which would be awesome. Buy your passports and have some fun. We hope to see you this weekend at the shop.

Happy New Year. Golden Gese Quilt Shop has their annual sale going on now for the month of January. Everything in the store is 20% off. This does not include the sale corner, the bolts of fabric in the cart or the Riley Blake Kits, those are already marked down. We have new things coming in weekly. We do have sew groups Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, come on in and sit and sew for $6.00 a day. The store hours are as follows:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 10-5
Saturday 10-1
Sunday and Thursday CLOSED

Thank you to all the hoppers that came to the shop during the All New England Shop Hop. It was a lot of fun. Can't believe it is that time of year again with the holidays just around the corner. Golden Gese Quilt Shop is hosting our second annual craft fair beginning Nov. 23rd and running through Dec. 23rd. We will be closed Wednesday, Nov, 27th and Tuesday Dec. 24th through Jan. 2nd. We will open Jan. 3rd the first day of our annual sale. The sale will run for the entire month with everything in the store 20% off. That excludes the sale corner, the Riley Blake table toppers and the 40% off bolts in the cart.
We do have gift certificates to help with your holiday shopping. Don't forget we offer long arm services. We will have a list of classes the first of the year.

Upcoming events at Golden Gese Quilt Shop. March 1st is the beginning of the block of the month, Blue Storm. There is still time to sign up, we are asking for half at sign up and the rest will be broken into payments of twenty two dollars for the first five months. March 2nd,9th and 23rd is a beginners class, Tower Bridge. This class is a three day class to take you through, cutting, piecing, layering, and simple machine quilting and binding. March 15,16 and 17 is our annual retreat at the shop with catered meals. Sign ups now. April 6th a Spring pillow class. Pictures of the beginner class and pillow are attached. If you have any questions or want to sign up come to the shop or give us a call. We are very excited to be part of the New England Shop Hop this fall.
