Assemblers Needed –Day and Swing Shifts Located in Concord CA.

Our company, Carol’s Roman Shades, is very stable and has plenty of business. We are located in Concord, CA right off Hwy 4. Most people work 6:00 to 2:30, we also have a 3:00pm-8:00pm shift and are flexible as well. Our company feels like a family, and many team members are long-term, which we like. Over time, we like to train our people on many different positions, and we always want to hear new ideas about how to make things even more efficient.
For this job, you’ll assemble shades, add lining to them, mark them for sewing machine operators, press fabric and match patterns for sewing. Once you know your job, you’ll work independently to complete the day’s work. There is room for growth and we like to promote from within.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:
Be accurate at measuring with a measuring tape.
Must read work orders carefully and be accurate.
Performs various physical duties as assigned.
Be punctual, reliable and ready to work
Performs some specialized tasks which may require on-the job training
Ability to maintain safe and clean work environment
Ability to stand or sit for the duration of your shift

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:

Sewing Machine Operator – Concord CA
For 45 years, we have been sewing roman shades, and we need two more full-time people to join our production team of 38 people who can operate our sewing machines as well as prepare fabrics for sewing. The company, Carol’s Roman Shades, is very stable and has plenty of business. The workday will fly by. Our air-conditioned production facility is clean, quiet, and well organized. It is helpful if you know how to use a sewing machine, and even better if you’ve used a production sewing machine in the past. Duties will include sewing, pattern-matching, shade/drapery and pillow manufacturing. Experience working with fabric, sewing machines, or having an interest in crafting is a bonus.
