Sometimes a refresh starts with what you already have.

These antique Windsor chairs were pulled up from the storage, dusted off and given a completely different attitude with a fresh coat of Benjamin Moore Van Deusen Blue. It's a perfect fit for the fun-loving couple who owns them.

This is just one small piece of a whole-house revitalization we're working on right now. No major renovation—just thoughtful changes in color, furnishings, window treatments and a few key spaces that are making the house feel much more like the people who live there.

This whole-house paint project is underway. When every room is being painted, the goal is not for everything to match- it is for the colors to feel connected as you move through the home. Paint can completely change how a house feels.

Tile Tuesday: pretty and practical!

This bathroom project is moving along! Demo started Monday, and today the floor tile is being laid out with the cabinetry positioned in place.

We love the hex shape, the mix of tones, and the subtle texture in this tile. It adds interest without feeling too busy — and the variation will also be forgiving for everyday life.

That is always a win in a bathroom: a tile that looks beautiful, works hard, and fits the space.
