Our spotlight today will be on our Reupholstery, Refinishing, Restoration Shops. Do you have a sofa, recliner, love seat, sectional, antique furniture, sleigh or other historical or family heirloom furniture that you would like to bring back to life with quality reupholstering, restoration or refinishing at a reasonable price by quality craftsmen? How about a boat, motorcycle, car or other recreational vehicle seat that needs to be repaired or reupholstered? Do you have a dining room chair that is pressed cane, fiber rush, sea grass, splint weave, Danish cord, shaker tape or wicker that needs to be repaired or replaced? All of these projects can be completed in one of our two shops here at NH Department of Corrections. As part of our rehabilitative services, our staff works with inmates to train them on all of these skills so they can re-enter the work force and earn a living wage. For more information please reach out to the shop managers at 603-271-6587 [email protected] or 603-752-0376 [email protected]. Both shops charge the same rate, but one may have a shorter wait que. Any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the Administrator, Debra Shepard, at 603-271-3904 or stop into the retail store at 312 N. State Street during normal store hours. Thank you!
