About a week ago this little pigeon fledgling self rescued itself. She scared me running towards me when I walked into the barn basement. When I picked her up I noticed a string completely wrapped around her foot. Nothing a good ol’ seam ripper couldn’t take care of. She hadn’t learned to fly yet so I kept her in the barn and we worked on flying lessons. Everyday she got stronger and flew further. Today I decided to go back down to the basement and let her try freedom. She flew the coop and is a free bird once again.♥️
