🌻✨ Experiment successful! ✨🌻

Today I decided to try painting on a burlap-wrapped canvas, and I have to say… I really enjoyed it! The texture of the burlap gives the painting a rustic, farmhouse feel and adds so much character to a simple flower design.

This hand-painted sunflower measures 16”x20” and was created with acrylic paint on burlap. The best surprise? It went much faster than I expected, which means there may be more burlap creations in my future!

In fact, I’m already thinking about painting on burlap placemats. How cute would those be on a farmhouse table? 🌻

Sometimes the best ideas come from simply trying something new. This one definitely sparked my creativity!

He started as a pour… but turned into a story.

Meet my little Treasure Turtle Keeper 🐢✨

As I slowly pulled him from the mold, layer by layer revealed itself—like uncovering memories hidden beneath the surface. First, the seashells… each one placed with intention, like tiny whispers from the ocean. Then came the soft bed of teal stones, reminding me of shallow waters where waves gently roll in. And finally, his rich bronze belly—warm, grounding, and strong… like the earth beneath it all.

What I love most about him is this—he’s not just art… he’s a keeper of treasures.

The shells, the sand, the stones… they can all tell a story.

This one feels so soft, feminine, and meaningful. 💕

I created this handmade resin coaster set using petals from a dried carnation and tiny pearl-like beads from a bracelet, giving old sentimental pieces a brand new life. There’s something beautiful about turning forgotten little treasures into functional art that can be enjoyed every day.

Some gardens bloom in sunlight… and some bloom quietly in the dark.

Midnight Garden in Sculpted Gold was inspired by the beauty that reveals itself when the world slows down. Imagine stepping outside at night, when the air is still and the garden feels almost mysterious. The flowers and leaves are no longer bright with daylight, but the moonlight catches their edges, tracing delicate lines and shapes that are easy to miss during the day.

That feeling is what guided this piece.

Each canvas was sculpted with raised plaster, allowing the flowers and leaves to lift gently from the surface. Against the deep matte black background, touches of metallic gold were brushed across the textures, catching the light like moonlight gliding across petals and leaves in a midnight garden.

This set is composed of three unique panels that work together like a quiet little corner of nature:

• 12” x 16” rectangular canvas featuring three softly layered five-petaled flowers
• 10” hexagon canvas filled with a cluster of sculpted leaves
• 12” x 12” square canvas highlighting a bold blooming flower with a richly textured center

Together they create a balanced arrangement that feels both modern and timeless. The deep black and warm gold bring a sense of calm sophistication, while the sculpted details invite you to look a little closer and notice the small, beautiful patterns nature gives us.

A reminder that even in the quiet of night… a garden is still blooming. ✨

Two travelers, guided by instinct and the pull of something greater… 🌊

This set, Wings of the Journey, was created from old maps—pieces of places once traveled, roads once taken, stories once lived. Now they’ve been given new life, lifted into the sky as a seagull and an egret soaring above the sea.

I love the idea that every line on these maps once meant “getting somewhere”… and now they’ve become the wings that carry these birds forward.

Maybe it reminds you of how far you’ve come…
Or maybe it’s a quiet nudge that there’s still more waiting ahead.

Each frame measures 11”x14” and they are meant to stay together—just like every journey and every destination.
