✨ HEY, I’M BACK! Sort of. ✨
About the trip: (Jump down if you’re only here for shop updates!)
In case you missed it, I took my daughter on a trek across the country, and what an adventure it was.
We left Ohio and headed to Vegas, where our connecting flight was canceled. Instead of letting it ruin the day, we paid a cab driver to give us a tour of the city, and it ended up being incredible.
From there, we went to Los Angeles and then finally made it to our destination: Seattle!
Over the last two weeks, we (and in some cases, just she 😂):
🌊 Visited the ocean and explored all of the aquatic life at low tide
🐴 Went horseback riding
📦 Helped family move from one upstairs apartment to another upstairs apartment, because apparently we hate ourselves
🥾 Hiked... and then hiked some more
👻 Visited an old insane asylum
🫐 Picked fresh blackberries and made a cobbler
🎨 Painted pottery that we shipped home, so everybody cross your fingers that it arrives in one piece tomorrow
🃏 Played LOTS of Cribbage
🛍️ Went thrifting at some of the coolest little shops
🏄♀️ Went paddle boarding on the lake
🐟 Adventured through Pike Place Market
🍴 Checked out some amazing local food places
❤️ And most importantly, spent SO much time with our family.
If you remember my solo trip out there to meet my brand-new niece... somehow that tiny baby is already going to be ONE in a few weeks. Boy, does time fly.
We flew home Thursday, and then on Friday we turned around and traveled to Pennsylvania for our annual camping trip with even more family. We finally made it home tonight.
After two weeks of traveling, hiking, moving furniture, camping, and sleeping on the ground, I feel utterly ancient. 😂 My body is requesting a refund.
NOW, ABOUT THE SHOP! ✨
Vacation mode has officially been shut off on Etsy and TikTok Shop, and everything is back up and running as it should be!
I had NO internet while we were away and next to no cell service. It was honestly the first time in a very, very long time that I completely unplugged.
It was wonderful.
But... it also means I didn't get those new scents listed like I had planned. 🙃
It's going to take me a couple of days to get unpacked, rested, caught up, and moving at my usual pace, but here's what you can expect:
✨ New scents will be listed by mid-week.
📦 All outstanding website orders will be shipped by Wednesday.
🎉 And once I've caught up, rested, and recovered, you can expect some sort of promotion to make up for the one I never got to post while I was away!

I'm back. I'm exhausted. My own bed has never looked more beautiful. And Sweetluxe is officially waking back up. ❤️
