Hey yall!
Today has been a day!
Started out by getting up at 4am for hubby's procedure.
It went well. He is just a lil sore. Thank yall for the prayers. Thwy said it could take up to 2 weeks for the full effect to kick in.
Then we came home. I took a 30 min nap. Then got up and went right to work on these sunflower 🌻 pinchushion dolls.
Then we were under a flash flood warning, then a tornado 🌪 watch... lights only flickered twice then came back on both times. We were very lucky.
All the while I am just working my fingers to the bone on these dolls! Their hair took me about 45 min per doll! Just to give you an idea!

I have to clock out early tonight. Remember my hubby and his back problems? In the morning (630am!!!) We are going for some injections for his back. He is still not back to work! If yall could say a prayer for him I would appreciate it! He needs to go back to work! He's driving me crazy 🤪 😜 lol

These lil dresses! Their tiny lil pleates! They are driving me crazy! I am working on 4 sunflower pincushion dolls!
I have their hair and legs to do. And have the sunflower centers sewn and stuffed. I have the petals cut out, I just have to paint and shade them. A lot of work goes into even the smaller dolls!

Sunflower pincushion Annie!!!
I just love how she turned out!!! I have another one in the making. I tried some new eyes with my new technique and love it! You can display her on it or use the sunflower as a giant pincushion! I will have to get a pic tomorrow of me holding it so you can see how big it is!

Yall remember those corn planters that I bought from Hobby Lobby? 2 broke and I went back and bought the last 4 they had!
Well I kinda knew what I wanted to make with them but wasn't sure. So they have been sitting here waiting. Today was the day!!!
Meet Henry 2.0!!!
He is made with my pattern that I tweaked just a bit so he could fit in the planter! He fits perfectly! My style has changed over the years so he is my new and improved, well I thinks so, version of Henry Crow! I put a tuft of feathers on top of his head but haven't attached them yet. Do yall think he looks better with or without the feathers?
Oh and look at his tag!!!

I tried a new technique with her eyes!!! Do yall see a difference? I love it so much more!!!
She is wearing a cute pumpkin skirt with an orange plaid shirt with a doily collar and a pumpkin button. She has a matching bow. Her legs are a pretty fall plaid. I did her hair loopy! Its a pretty fall orange color. Her face is stitched shaded and blushed. She holds a can of pumpkin that I added a dollop of faux whipped cream and sprinkled cinnamon. She is about 21".
What do yall think?
