A new chapter at home called for a space that felt just as fresh.

As our clients embraced a quieter, empty-nesting lifestyle after years of raising their family, their vision was simple: a family room that felt light, warm, and full of life. Our goal was to create a breath of fresh air: inviting, expressive, and never too serious.

Through customized furnishings, layered textures, and thoughtfully mixed patterns, the space comes alive with subtle movement and tactile interest—designed to feel both beautifully relaxed and deeply personal.

This full-scale outdoor renovation was designed from start to finish as a true extension of the home, with every detail inviting you to slow down and stay awhile. From the lazy river and poolside slide to fireside evenings, a screened-in summer kitchen that opens to the breeze, tennis afternoons, and even a tucked away back staircase—every corner was thoughtfully imagined for gathering, play, and everyday living.

It’s a reminder that outdoor spaces deserve the same intention as your interiors. And with spring officially here, it’s the perfect time to start envisioning what your home could become for the seasons ahead. We’ve always believed that art is what gives a space its voice.

We’re honored to be involved again this year, supporting their mission to bring arts and cultural enrichment to our region.

Our clients’ love for ornate detail and expressive craftsmanship shaped this primary bedroom into a true showpiece — where technical precision meets rich layers of textile and architectural form.

Inspired by the home’s existing gilded millwork, this space carries that legacy forward with an intimate, indulgent touch. Layered wall panels with clipped corners, ornate onlays, and intricate molding create depth and refined character.

And of course, we celebrate the magic of our seamstress, Munira! She brought our clients’ (and our) textile dreams to life with custom bedding, a bed canopy, and window treatments complete with a motorized Austrian shade, all handcrafted right here in our Houston showroom. These personal touches are what make this project truly one-of-a-kind.

Rooted in classical design and executed through detailed construction drawings, this space reflects a simple belief: love shows up in the details.
