We’re a team of 15 designers and creatives based across Houston, Dallas, and New Orleans, dedicated to our craft of interior design that feels beautifully custom and true to you. You may remember us as Woodlands Fabrics & Interiors, North Houston's premier furnishings & fabrics retail resource for 20+ years. In 2018, Nancy Charbonneau closed the retail doors and restructured her team to exclusively focus on what she feels she was meant to do — design eloquent spaces. Today, as a full-service interior design firm, we’ve completed renovation, construction, custom furnishings, custom textiles & drapery projects all over the country — this year, you’ll find us around Houston, Austin, Colorado, and Florida. Color has officially moved into the larger pieces. We’re seeing richer hues find their way beyond pillows and accessories and into the furnishings themselves, giving color a more prominent role in the overall design.

Rather than saving it for the finishing touches, we’re letting it help shape the character of a room from the start. Neutrals will always have their place, but there’s something special about a room that isn’t afraid of a little color.

A beautiful home isn’t meant to be kept untouched. It’s meant to be lived in, and that includes life with the whole family, paws and all. When we design a home, we consider how every member of the family will use it, from performance textiles and durable flooring to smart storage that makes room for the pets we love.

Because the best interiors aren’t just beautiful to look at. They’re comfortable enough to curl up in, durable enough for everyday life, and designed to be enjoyed by everyone who lives there. And, of course, swipe to meet the fur baby who keeps us company in the studio. 🐾

Over the years, our internship program has grown into one of the most rewarding parts of our studio. Built around real-world experience, it gives students the opportunity to learn alongside our team as projects move from concept to completion.

Whether they’re exploring materials in the resource room, assisting with sample pulls, attending client meetings, or visiting active job sites, every experience offers a deeper understanding of the design process.

We’re grateful to this summer’s interns (and every wonderful intern before them) for embracing every opportunity to learn, ask questions, and grow. Our summers are always better with you! 🤍

The bones of a home can tell you a lot about where to begin.

The sweeping curve at was original to the home, but the dark, ornate detailing made the space feel visually heavy and dated. We reimagined the floor plan, opened up the entry and allowed the curve to finally have its moment.

The staircase occupies essentially the same amount of space as it did before, yet it feels completely different. Sometimes the architecture doesn’t need more. It just needs a little room to breathe. Swipe to see where we started and the progress in between.
