What happens when "Life proof" LVP meets a leak?

For our client, it meant tearing out damaged flooring that didn’t live up to its name. But in the process, they uncovered a silver lining—original hardwood in the living room!

Inspired by the timeless beauty of their hidden hardwood, they decided to ditch the LVP altogether and extend the charm throughout their home. After carefully removing the damaged floors, we installed stunning 1 ½" white oak in the kitchen, creating a seamless tie-in to the living room. The result? A beautiful, cohesive space that’s durable, natural, and truly built to last.

We recently completed a full install of 4-inch rift and corded white oak hardwood in this 100-year-old farmhouse. The new flooring keeps true to the home’s rustic charm, with a seamless finish that honors the craftsmanship of the past while elevating it with a fresh, natural look.
