Not because we’re taking a break.

Quite the opposite. 😂

We’re currently knee-deep in boxes, deliveries, questionable DIY decisions and something VERY exciting that we’ve been working on behind the scenes.

The flower shop you know and love isn’t going anywhere…

but she’s getting a rather exciting new roommate. 👀

We’ll be back September 11th.

And things are going to look a little different around here.

Consider this your reminder to go and check the flowers in your house. 👀🌸

If the water is looking less “fresh spring morning” and more “Lake Norman after a storm”…

CHANGE IT. 😂

Clean vase. Fresh water. Little trim off the stems. Remove any leaves below the waterline.

It takes about two minutes and can make a huge difference to how long your flowers last.

And please stop topping up the swamp water and then blaming your florist. We have feelings. 😂

Wedding flowers are expensive. I’m a wedding florist. I’m allowed to say it. 😂

But after working on 500+ weddings, I can tell you that spending MORE doesn’t necessarily make your wedding look more luxurious.

It’s where you spend it.

I would take three absolutely bloody gorgeous floral moments over 27 tiny arrangements dotted around your wedding that nobody really notices.

Give me the ceremony flowers that make everyone go 😍.

Give me gorgeous bouquets.

Give me reception flowers that make the whole room feel special.

The tiny arrangement next to the guest book?

She can sit this one out.

You do not need flowers on every available surface to have a beautiful wedding.

Spend where people look. Simplify where they don’t.

THAT is how you do realistic luxury. 🤍
