Getting a good botanical print on cellulose fabric (cotton, linen, h**p) is more challenging than on silk and wool, but I am happy how these organic cotton scarves and shawl turned out.

Can't wait until the Four Corners Studio Tour coming to a studio near you in Sept.

Just finished these handwoven cotton towels. Turned Summer & Winter, a traditional pattern originating in Finland and brought to the US by colonists, seems appropriate now.
It's summer but I'd be happy if winter came soon. 😉

Here are a couple of my accomplishments during the Tour de Fleece, a time when spinners overdo it during the Tour de France bike race. Hand-dyed polwarth wool and undyed Navajo-churro wool, 2 ply handspun yarn. Starting a new color tonight.
