What a crazy week! Things didn’t go as planned, so I thought I would share with you something that I have been working on. I’ve been taking an acrylic painting class, and I’m so proud of how my zinnias turned out! 🎨🌸 I haven’t felt very creative lately, but this has been a rewarding experience.
We had a little time at my brother’s farm over the weekend. It was so beautiful to hear cows mooing and kids giggling! My Jaye Bird has been working really hard, training Rocko her 🍀 4-H hog for our upcoming county fair. This momma is proud, tired yet I’m trying to fully embrace all the summer moments. ❤️
Thanks everyone, I enjoyed all the birthday messages last week and this week! We are loving our bubble and porch time too; if I’m quiet the next few days, you know where I will be. 🥳🍃

I’m thrilled that my third fabric collection included 108” quilt backing! Blooming Doodles fabric from my presented by is now available in your local quilt shop! When my Windham rep visited on Thursday, we explored all the new Windham fabrics and discovered how Windham paired my Blooming Doodles with their new Core Classics collection coming later this year. This simple, low-volume collection is fantastic!
The 108” backing adds an extra touch. Blooming Doodles is truly a fun backing that adds a little extra love with sweet words for quilting projects. Jaye and I are spending some time at a different family farm this weekend. I thought these classic farm backdrop pictures looked perfect with this fabric. Hope you’re having a great weekend, friends!

We’re kicking off the day with some special friends joining us for breakfast. Then it’s off to weigh the 4H pigs with Pa, and later, Jaye and I are heading to my brother’s farm to hang out with his kiddos! 🐷🌾

Morning, friends! Hope all of you are well. We’ve been busy, busy around here. We went from walking show pigs to hanging quilts! Finally getting around to hanging all the projects I designed with my Sway fabric collection from . The shop is extra bright, and I’m loving it. I’m also loving these with my Sway fabrics!!!! If only there were more hours in the day to quilt, right!? Just wanted to give you a little heads up about the month of June!!!! The shop is closed next week. Getting a little tune up on my knee but will be back at it the week after!!!

Today is my 44th birthday, and I wanted to take the opportunity to reintroduce myself to both new and old friends here. I'm Kori, and I'm thrilled that you're following along with this momma-made business as a fabric designer with , artist, book author, boutique quilt shop owner, and quilt and pattern designer! I enjoy sharing my love of quilting, hand embroidery, and the daily adventures of my life in rural Ohio, and I am grateful for this wonderful community.
