A glimpse inside Naya at Great Park Neighborhoods in Irvine, where modern California living takes on a warm and inviting point of view.

Each space was designed with everyday living in mind, balancing beauty and functionality while allowing subtle moments of color, pattern, and personality to shine. We used natural wood tones, layered neutrals and thoughtfully curated details to create a home that feels relaxed, refined, and distinctly California.

We’re proud to be part of the award-winning team behind Sommers Bend along with Woodside Homes.

SHAWOOD at Sommers Bend received the Award of Excellence in the Construction and Development Project category at the 9th JAPAN Construction International Award, the first time a detached-home community has earned the honor.

The award-winning luxury model homes we designed offer three distinct approaches to modern indoor-outdoor living. Each is united by an underlying aesthetic that highlights translucency. Natural materials echo the golden hills to create spaces that are in dialogue with the land.

July was filled with the people, moments, and recognition that define our work. We celebrated CDC's 45th birthday, were honored several Gold Nugget Award wins, and witnessed months of hard work and vision come to life through new project installations.

We’re proud to celebrate two of the newest members of the CDC team, Kendal and Kira, on their recent graduations!

Kendal recently graduated from the UCLA Extension Interior Design Program, and Kira earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, Cum Laude, from Northern Arizona University, along with an Interior Design Event Management Certificate.

We’re excited to have them both at CDC and look forward to seeing their talent, creativity, and fresh perspectives contribute to our work and future projects.
