I know. I know. It's been a while, folks! But that's because we've been busy onboarding new clients and wrapping up this year with a big 'ol bang!

The next 3 months will be filled with onboarding 6 new clients, working on 25 ongoing projects, training our first full-time employee, and moving into our new office. Whew. We're scaling and it feels so good 😀

I just got off the phone with a client. Wanna know what she said?

"I'm in a strange place. I'm torn between growing and taking on more clients or retiring because I'm so stressed and overwhelmed."

This is such a common discussion I have with designers all over the place, and I absolutely get it! Trust me, I feel you.

The biggest goal I have is to reduce some of that stress by taking off the technical workload. We want you to love what you do. You fell in love with design, not CAD or Sketchup, so let us take care of that so you go back to what moves and inspires you.

Happy St. Patty's day! I always thought I was a little Irish, especially because I love me some Irish whiskey, but alas, I'm pretty much full Filipino!

While I'm here and we have a lot of new followers, let me reintroduce myself. I'm an interior designer based in Southern California. I've been in the industry for 22 years (I can't believe it) and have been in various roles and sectors within the industry.

My Libra personality tends to constantly try to find balance between my creative side and my logical/technical side. That's why this business started. I pushed my love for the technical forward and decided to create a company focused on helping designers bring their visions to life. We help them take their ideas and put it on paper.

Some of my favorite things:
Spending time with my husband and son
Practicing my Muay Thai
Reading a good book
Paddleboarding
Traveling
Exploring new coffee shops...

If you ever see me in the wild, please say hi. I'm an introvert who would love to be an extrovert. Unfortunately, I have major RBF, which I think scares people off 😆 and I have a terrible time remembering people's names , so I'll most likely not say hi first. Solid foundation for an entrepreneur, amirite?!

Found some old renderings we did for our very first project back in 2012. This was an enormous task; 100,000 SF multifamily complex in Irvine. The project went through many iterations, and the rendering here was one of the first.

The entry was a tough floorplan to work with, and the entire space was angled like an elongated hex. We wanted to soften the angles by adding in the curves in the ceiling and have large statement lighting. I love seeing our architectural features implemented here with the curve detail of the ceiling.

Whatever the outcome or your beliefs, we're all in this together. We all deserve to be treated with fairness, respect, and kindness. Either way, I pray for a safe and successful future for America.
