I haven’t spent much time in the shop lately due to a combination of the weather, weird injuries, a cold, and general exhaustion from school. Nelson had a nice fire going today, so I told myself I had to go do SOMETHING.
I decided to take it easy and finish some pails with a vine design I had already sketched out (thinking I’d reward myself with a nap afterwards).
What actually happened was that I picked up the white can that I had set aside, honestly because I didn’t think I had the skills to cut the design I’d drawn quite yet. 🤪
Lesson of the day: Creativity is fickle, so treat her gently, but also don’t be afraid to kick her in the butt!
