This basement remodel is about 95% complete!

What started as an underutilized lower level is now a fully finished, functional living space designed for both everyday use and entertaining. From the custom fireplace feature wall to the full wet bar setup, every detail was thoughtfully planned to make this space feel like a true extension of the home.

The wet bar brings it all together with custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, a built-in fridge, and a clean herringbone backsplash that adds just the right amount of texture. Across the space, the new fireplace feature wall creates a cozy focal point, while updated flooring, lighting, and millwork tie everything together seamlessly.

Beyond the main living area, this project also included a full bathroom refresh, new doors and trim throughout, updated electrical and lighting, and added storage solutions to make the space as practical as it is inviting .

This kitchen transformation is one of those projects you have to see to believe.

What was once a more closed-off layout is now a bright, open space that seamlessly connects the kitchen, dining, and living areas. By removing the entry wall and opening up the staircase, we were able to create a much better flow throughout the main level. We also enlarged the kitchen window, bringing in more natural light and making the entire space feel even more open.

At the same time, it was important to keep the character of the home intact. We preserved details like the original ceiling racetrack, carefully matched the hardwood flooring, and blended the trim so the new space feels like it’s always been part of the home.

The end result is a kitchen that feels open, warm, and completely connected — perfect for everyday living and gathering.

This bathroom remodel is a great example of how thoughtful design can completely change the way a space feels and functions.

The original layout felt cramped and inefficient, with a narrow shower, a tucked-away toilet, and a large whirlpool tub that took up more space than it added value. By reworking the layout from the ground up, we were able to open everything up and create a much more functional and inviting design.

The new shower is a standout feature, finished in calming sage green subway tile with a herringbone accent wall that adds just the right amount of character. We relocated the toilet to a more practical position and incorporated storage cabinetry above, making better use of the space. A freestanding tub now serves as the focal point of the room, bringing a clean and modern feel, while the sage green vanity ties everything together beautifully.

With updated windows, sleek black fixtures, and timeless finishes throughout, this bathroom now feels balanced, relaxing, and built for everyday use.

Since our last update, the big finishing touches have come together — countertops, tile backsplash, appliances, and lighting are all installed. What was recently a work-in-progress is now looking like a complete kitchen, and the design is really shining through!

The combination of warm cabinetry, the contrasting island, and the clean quartz countertops has brought the whole space to life. We’re almost ready to put a bow on this one, and we can’t wait to share the full before-and-after transformation soon! ✨

Not every remodel begins with a plan. Sometimes it starts with an unexpected problem.

After a refrigerator water line leak flooded much of the main level and part of the basement, our client was suddenly faced with a stressful situation. We stepped in to help guide them through the insurance process and turn what started as damage repair into an opportunity to create the kitchen they had always wanted.

Instead of simply replacing what was there before, we took the chance to rethink the layout and design a space that better supports how their family lives day to day.

The new kitchen features custom cabinetry from Fabuwood, combining crisp white cabinets with warm wood tones and a matching range hood for contrast and character. The island now serves as the centerpiece of the space, offering smart storage solutions and a cleverly hidden microwave. To keep the main floor feeling cohesive, we also carefully matched the existing hardwood flooring.

What began as an unfortunate leak ultimately became a thoughtful redesign — and a kitchen that feels both beautiful and built for real life.

This basement transformation completely reimagined how the space could be used. What was once unfinished is now a bright, open lower level designed for entertaining and everyday use!

By removing the dividing wall, we were able to bring in more natural light and create a much more open, inviting layout. The addition of a custom bar and a brand-new bathroom makes this space both functional and fun, while the blue cabinetry and gold fixtures add just the right amount of personality and polish.

Now this basement is ready for hosting, relaxing, and making memories — a true extension of the home from top to bottom!
