Targhee/bamboo/silk roving I bought from Sheepshed MVF at Rhinebeck like three years ago maybe. 🤷‍♀️

Dyed before spinning, went for a fractal fade (as in, “we just gonna break this roving into sections and go with it”) 🤪

Super soft and squishy 3-ply of about 230yds. 🧶

I used to loathe sari silk fiber. Literally called it “Sari I bought it”. 😆 But I learned something this Tour de Fleece…...

I used to loathe sari silk fiber. Literally called it “Sari I bought it”. 😆 But I learned something this Tour de Fleece…don’t try and spin it by itself! When sparingly blended with other fibers, can add beautiful color and texture.
Also, pro tip: when blending using a drum carder or blending board, add the sari silk only after you have a few passes of other fibers on the cloth - otherwise the sari silk wants to stick to the cloth.

220 yards sport/dk of merino, tencel, silk, Romney, cotton, and sari silk.
