To be fair, my math teacher also cried when I was in his class. Anyway, look at my giant pumpkins! 🎃

I disappeared for a little brain break before the big Christmas rush… and apparently the universe said, “Absolutely not.” 🫠

I was hired for a gazillion (ok, like ten) big Fall & Halloween displays all at once, so goodbye to that idea I guess!

I’m in the warehouse sitting on a mountain of freshly delivered foam, staring at pumpkins for inspiration, trying to pull myself together and get my britches in gear.

So if you’re new here — this is pretty much how I operate. Disappear, regroup, accidentally book myself solid, and then resurface covered in glitter, foam dust, and questionable amounts of caffeine. Repeat.

Fall & Halloween are officially underway. Let’s do thisssss!! 🎃👻🍂

📢 ATTENTION TO THE PEOPLE WHO MESSAGE ME ABOUT CHRISTMAS DECOR AT 7:43 PM ON THANKSGIVING NIGHT. 📢

You know who you are.

Every. Single. Year.

Around July you tell yourself: "Self, I'm going to contact Kelly EARLY this year!"

And by "early," you apparently mean sometime between pumpkin pie and the second football game.

Then Thanksgiving evening rolls around. You're sitting in your recliner, scrolling Facebook, and suddenly the algorithm attacks.

The influencers are decorating 12-foot trees. 🎄
Mariah Carey has emerged from her annual hibernation. ✨
Your neighbor is already hanging lights.
Your mother-in-law announces she's coming for Christmas.
Panic sets in.

You immediately post: "Does anyone know somebody who decorates for Christmas?"

Thirty-seven people tag me.

You send me a message.

And then you're shocked when I don't respond because we've been installing Christmas since the first of November and I'm surviving on back to back Alani packets, 2.5 hours of sleep, and the unwavering belief that caffeine is a personality trait. 🙃

Meanwhile, every year I have to say:

✋ "I'm sorry. I've been booked since July."

Again.

For almost ten years in a row.

So consider this your annual public service announcement.

While we're all outside sweating through our clothes and pretending Louisiana will eventually cool off, this is the perfect time to think about those beautiful 78° "winter" days and what your home or business could look like covered in Christmas magic.

Don't wait until November.
Don't wait until you're eating pie.
Don't wait until your neighbor is on the roof.
Don't wait until your mother-in-law calls.

And please, for the love of all things holly and jolly, don't wait until Thanksgiving night.
