Yellow Canary Floral and Event Design Canary Floral & Event Design is a wedding floral and event design studio serving the greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area.

Whether you are planning a wedding, dinner party, baby shower or your organization's annual gala we work with you to develop a detailed floral plan that lays the foundation for a stunning and truly memorable celebration. From table styling to floral ceremony arches and ceilings hung with 10,000 flowers, we transform spaces by constructing an atmosphere that articulates your vision. Why do hydrangeas arrive like this?

True to their name (hydra), hydrangea are super thirsty flowers. They need lots of water to maintain their voluminous fluffy petals.

Great for
✅ volume
✅ uniformity
✅ any season
✅ design versatility
✅ color bursts

Tricky points
❤️‍🩹 high maintenance handling results in more materials being used (i.e. less eco friendly)
❤️‍🩹 must have access to water
❤️‍🩹 prone to wilting if not handled properly

We love working with hydrangeas! They make for stunning centerpieces and waterfalls, and they add glorious texture to any piece.

But we also recognize they can be finicky. From a horticultural standpoint, they're typically bred as a sterile bloom, meaning they don't help pollinators. And they often have to travel with additional plastics or require the use of floral foam.

We brought the garden inside the Grand Tent at Greenacres Foundation.

Tons of loose, dangling greenery mimicked countryside vineyards. Tall centerpieces with garden roses in a spectrum of lavender, peach, and pale pink kept sight-lines clear while drawing the eye upward to a massive crystal chandelier.

What kind of magic would this be? Taking a field and turning it into a moment ✨

The weather couldn't have been more perfect while we designed these asymmetrical floral towers. Dahlia, stock, roses, sedum and so much more came together to frame this outdoor ceremony at French Park.

Outdoor weddings feel extra stunning at Greenacres Art Center.

For this black tie affair, we took inspiration from the gorgeous gardens and landscape surrounding the property's English Norman-style manor. Sun-dappled branches became textured aisle flowers. Greens and stock took us to the English countryside.

Pink and green 🌸🍃 It was preppy in the '50s, neon and punchy in Y2K, and now it's elevated. We're using softer tones and better textures with way more intentional styling. It's the same palette, but with way more design literacy.

This wedding proved it: pink and green don't have to feel nostalgic to feel iconic.
