Therese

Artist passionate about creating works inspired by nature and finished with imagination. I create ethereal abstracts and landscapes with layers of melted color and gestural flowing lines. Working in acrylic, inks, and mixed media, I like to work quickly often experimenting with new techniques to keep my work contemporary and fresh.

W**e and Art! I had a splash of w**e on one of my matted pieces so I illustrated it! 🍷🎨

New Abstract 24 x 26 - I love most things vintage! There is something magical about old postcards—the faded colors, handwritten messages, worn edges, and little glimpses into places and lives from another time.

Those nostalgic treasures inspired my newest highly textured abstract, "Circling the Globe". I layered paint, marks, fragments of words, and hints of gold to create the feeling of traveling through memories—some recognizable, others left to the imagination. There is heavy texture and mixed media throughout the layers.

I love how this piece seems to reveal something new each time I look at it. https://tilleenedesigns.com/products/circling-the-globe
