We will be open this coming Friday & Saturday from 10-4 with our final sale of 25% off storewide. Due to Jim’s sudden passing I will no longer be keeping the store open. Thank you to all the people that stopped in last weekend; Jim would have been so proud & happy for the overwhelming show of support. Thank you, Peg Houle❤️

The store will be open for the next few weeks and then it will be closing; we lost Jim this past week and this was his dream. He loved making all his beautiful things in his shop over the winter months and when he finished restoring this beautiful building we decided to have the store open a couple of days a week just to see how it would go. It has been great to see so many people support it as well as stop in just to visit. We will be open the next 3 weekends on Friday and Saturday with a sale this weekend of 20% off any sale over 50 dollars for Kentuck Days. The outpouring of heartfelt messages this week from friends and family has been so much appreciated and I thought a post was in order to let you all know. Thank You, Peg

We are heading out of town tomorrow to Amish Country in the southern part of the state; this is our first trip to their inventory and are looking forward to a new adventure; will let you know how the trip goes.

The past few days we added a few new items that I refinished this week & a Hump Back Trunk that would be great for storing extra blankets in a cabin or home; the tables have beautiful wood on the top & I painted the legs a beautiful dark blue; also a nice piano bench with a new piano hinge for the lid. Added some fall baskets as well as a beautiful library table & a 5x8 braided rug; store is starting to look like a little piece of fall😊 Would like to thank everyone who stopped down at the Amish Bake Sale on Friday and all the new visitors as well as many of our old friends that stopped in over the weekend. We are planning a store-wide sale the weekend of "Art in the Park" and will keep you posted as it gets closer.
